Wrestling with the same dilema - A lot will be dependent on prices when released.

Rich is returning from a serious ACL injury and I believe he is capable of a minimum 90+ and similar to Wells reurning from lower leg injuries. Will he step up withg Greenwood gone.

have added a poll as well to see what the outcome is.

Rich and Wells = 710K, 80-85 + 85-90
Rookie 65-70, 120K + 590K premo should get you 105-110

Should score about the same, but the fact that you get an extra keeper in your team and save a trade means you should go with the premo and rookie.

As said above although Wells and Rich are good even great value picks they aren't keepers in my opinion so I would just have to with the premium/rookie picks.

I like both if im honest but the fact you could pick a rookie that could average 80s makes it a no brainer for me. Whereas with the 2 mid-pricers could average anywhere 80-105 each which makes it too risky.

Rookies could also serve up 55 though, so you have to take that into account. Bontempelli was the best rookie last year and only managed 78. This year's crop doesn't appear to have another Dunstan so going with the cheap rooks could blow up in your face.

+1
Heres hoping for 120k bolter surfacing from the nab challeng.
If so , premo + Rookie.
If not 2 mid pricers.

fasttrack13

That rookie you select will still make 200k+. No guarantee on rich and wells. One ageing, the other injury prone. All th mid price hype early, generally ends up with guns and rookies.

Money Shot

I wouldn't say Rich is injury prone I think he has only had one major injury so I don't think you would classify that as injury prone.

Prior to his acl this year Rich had only missed 4 games to injury in 5 seasons so not an injury prone player.

I'm not a fan of mid pricers, so I'll be going premo and rookie, as long as their is enough rookies starting

You will need to use anywhere from 2-4 trades to upgrade Rich and Wells eventually, and I cant see too much of a gain in the points they will score vs a premo and rookie

Brisbane have so many damn SC scorers now, so I actually don't think Rich will even push 90

Beams , Rocky , Hanley and Martin all will take points.
Beams alone will hurt his score.

Not to mention Zorko, Christensen and Redden too!

I really enjoy your train of thought RD.
As always our final decisions will be made after the nab.

I remember concerns over rich in his u18 years...
It shows rich has missed 14 games... did he get dropped?
