the whole guns/rookies strategy is hard work with the AF rookie pricing this year!

its literally guns and rookie now with people taken in the first round national not worth it. So its Guns and late national rookie or rookie draft players.

I like this tweet from 'Warnie' from DT Talk/the Traders ...

"Are the people whinging about #AFLFantasy prices being too high for rookies (and the rest) the same ones that think it's too easy?"

;)

theres a fine line and they have crossed it

making rookies 200k was challenging enough making them 300k is absurd

Ricochet

Not sure what about the rest but the top picks are only about 15% more which is flower all

sorry KB, couldn't help myself ...  ;)

Mr.Craig

They increase the number of trades.

They realised this made cash generation too easy.

They bumped up the price of rookies.

I would have preferred them to tinker with the price rise formula and make things more stable, meaning cows take longer to mature.

So looks like $120K is the lowest price for rookies. Is this higher than this year? I thought there were some under 100k, but maybe that's DT I am thinking of?

I remember when we had 84k rookies :'(

2. Kelly $260,200
2. Petracca $297,000

3. Billings $257,400
3. Brayshaw $294,000

21. Impey $208,700
21. Goddard $236,000

22. Gardiner $206,000
22. McKenzie $233,000

40. Kennedy-Harris $157,200
40. Neal-Bullen $176,000

Its. not. that. bad.

kilbluff1985

yeah but when will they stop? will pick 1 be 340k next year?

it's bad because 260k turned most people off pick 1 anyway

nrich102

No one should have picked Boyd and shouldn't pick McCartin either  :P.

thanks captain obvious

salver11

They haven't made it any harder pricing rookies at that price they've just made more players irrelevant pricing them like that which makes more people lose interest as every single decent fantasy coach out there ends up with the same rookies because there's only a few left that make mathematical sense to select.  >:(

Ringo

Agree that the pricing is ridiculous will you pick Petracca for $297k when you can pick Daniel Rich for $268k. Really shows that AFL has lost their way with pricing.

Capper

Petracca and Brayshaw are more expensive than Toumpas??
