No Bartel is a tick, everyone seems healthy (maybe Brown who might have a hammy). Having 28 trades I would hold. The only one to maybe consider is getting WhiteX early if you want to get Tarrant and Krak if the both last another week.

So maybe the way I would set it up is

Brown>WhiteX

then the following week

Newton>Krak
Lonie>Tarrant (although it might be sideways)

That will keep the cash generation going and then you can look at upgrades for maybe Salem or a couple of other rookies the following week

AaronKirk

Not worried about Brown at D8. If he is out I can loophole him and make McIntosh emergency (Richmond play on Friday night) or take Saad's score.

WhiteX was ok without being brilliant, will give him another week.

Newton of the rookies I have (apart from Brown) is the only one who does not have a negative BE. I am looking at going Newton to Krakouer but may hold another week.

I don't have the cash yet to jump from a rookie to a premo so I may hold off on trading this week.

jumbo

A Red herring for you to think about?

you're in a great position and made a some good early trade calls.

The speculative trade on WhiteX could be risky and is it worth the trade loss yet. ??

However, It would be nice for you to get Goldey in your rucks but you're $28.1k short.

So, Wait until next week to have a look at the bubble boys?

OR

Get Goldey by going Newnes to WhiteX Net Gain $225,800 then Belch to Goldey. You have Oxley, Saad or KMac who have averages as good as or better then Newnes anyway....

You can still make your other changes next week if need be with cash to spare and generate an extra weekly 30+points out of your RUC line..

AaronKirk

I'm not trading Newnes. He is a mid-pricer/keeper and while he hasn't been great he hasn't been poor enough to want to turf him yet.

I'll probably hold off trading this week. I'll have a think about it and make a decision later in the week.

AaronKirk

Having another look at my situation if I trade Newton to Krakouer I will have the cash to go Lonie to any premo except Roughy or Boomer or Brown in my defence to any premo

So I have 4 options.

1) Newton to Krakouer and Brown to B.Smith
2) Newton to Krakouer and Lonie to Buddy
3) Newton to Krakouer and Brown or lonie to any suggestions?
4) Hold

What should I be looking at?

GoLions

I'd hold for this week mate. Then see how Krakouer goes this week, and whether he is even named for his 3rd game or not.

This is the option I am leaning towards mate, but the chance to bring another premo in is very tempting. At worst I have a DPP link and could swing Krakouer around. Hmm.

No harm in waiting a week though. That way you'll be certain that Krak will make cash, and you'll get a bit more of a price rise from Newton.
Personally, I'm looking at trading Newton and someone else for Krak and a premo next week as well.

I would hold this week but you also have McGrath out for a while now but no one on the bubble this week worth getting

sammy123

Just hold a week see how krak does

Looking like I will hold. McGrath could be a useful loophole option till something comes out of the woodwork.

Ringo

Does McGrath being out for 8/12 weeks change your thinking AK. Instead of Lonie trade McGrath but you can really afford to hold if need be.

Not yet. If McGrath is out for 8/12 weeks I can use him as a loophole option. to get the better score of Clark ,Salem, Lonie

And there isn't a better forward rookie option at this stage. Want to wait another week for Krak or Tarrant and I don't have the cash to go to a gun premo up forward.

Pretty certain now I won't be trading this week.

AaronKirk

Now that Robbie Gray is out I have to consider the option of going McGrath to Krakouer a week early.

This would ensure I only have 1 non-playing forward this week and have $297,000 in the bank for next week.

It's a 50/50 call. I either take the hit and hope that there are no late outs or make an early trade. I am still leaning towards holding off trading this week.
