Am liking your team

Only problem area is your rucks.  Ive been getting 2250+ most weeks since getting jacobs for bellcho. Belcho gets 60 odd EVERY week. Premo rucks avg 40 points more a week. Its like trading vandenberg to pendlebury effectively.

Might be worth looking at, particularly before strengthening that good backline further

The backs definitely will be the last to be upgraded.

Bellcho probably the reason I lost against you in one of the leagues I'm in last weekend (only loss I had in 10 leagues)

Rocky is too cheap to ignore and have to bring him in this week. One of Sauce, Goldy or Mummy will come in for TBC by the byes.

Yeah get Rocky for sure.
I thought your pic was pre-trades.
Other than that though, your team looks like a scoring machine!

AaronKirk

Scored 2400 this week. Moved up to 2438 overall.

Trades last week were Lonie to Dale and Miller to Rocky.

AaronKirk

I wanted to get rid of Bellchambers but due to circumstances have to keep him again.

Need to get rid of Krakouer now he is back on the rookie list - have downgraded him to Dumont

Also have upgraded Robbie Tarrant to Buddy.

I now have 15 trades left and $33,400 in the bank.

Def: H Shaw, R Murphy, J Gibson, M Hibberd, A Oxley, A Saad (K McIntosh, D McKenzie)

Mid: N Fyfe, P Dangerfield, S Pendlebury, J Kennedy, C Ward, J Selwood, R Sloane. P Cripps (T Rockliff, T Dumont, B Stretch)

Ruck. N Naitanui, T Bellchambers (T Read)

Fwd: R Gray, D Martin, D Swan, B Goddard, L Franklin, J. Hogan (F McInnes, B Dale)

Ricochet

I was in the same boat with Belly mate. Wanted to upgrade Clark and move Belly to the bench.

But will have to trade Rocky and Kraks now so fielding Belly again

I managed to score 2247 last weekend and moved up to 1,453 overall. Below are my trading plans over the byes in an ideal situation

I have set up my team to hopefully navigate the byes to be able to push up the rankings. Lets see how we go with that.

Will be using all 3 trades this week.

1) Cripps to Boston
2) Rockliff to Wines
3) Bellchambers to Goldstein

Replacing 3 who would be out this week with 3 that should be playing - leaves me with the side below for this week

Def: Shaw, Hibberd, Saad, Oxley, D.McKenzie (if named)
Mid: Fyfe, JPK, Pendlebury, Ward, Selwood, Wines, Dumont, Boston
Ruck: Goldstein, Naitanui
Fwd: Gray, Swan, Goddard, Franklin, Hogan, McInnes (if named)

19-21 should be named with 14 premiums

Then next week before trades I have the following

Def: Shaw, Murphy, Gibson, McIntosh
Mid: Ward, Selwood, Wines, Sloane, Dangerfield, Dumont, Stretch (unlikely)
Ruck: Goldstein, Naitanui
Fwd: Gray, Martin, Hogan, McInnes, Dale (if named)

16-18 before trades.

I am looking at downgrading D.McKenzie to Hamling and Oxley to Smith, which pockets around 120-130k and then upgrade Saad to Houli (the option I like most at this stage)

Def: Shaw, Murphy, Gibson, McIntosh, Smith, Houli (Hamling)
Mid: Ward, Selwood, Wines, Sloane, Dangerfield, Dumont, Stretch (unlikely)
Ruck: Goldstein, Naitanui
Fwd: Gray, Martin, Hogan, McInnes, Dale (if named)

18-20 on field for round 12

Then prior to trades for round 13

Def: Murphy, Gibson, McIntosh, Smith, Houli, Hibberd (Hamling)
Mid: Sloane, Dangerfield, Fyfe, Pendlebury, JPK, Boston
Fwd: Martin, Swan, Goddard, Franklin, Dale (if named)

17 prior to trades.

Would be looking at Dumont to Playing Rookie and Hogan to Deledio (pending funds) and another trade if need be.

Would in theory have 19-20 on field, get to full premo and have 7 trades left looking like this below at full premium

Def: Shaw, Murphy, Houli, Gibson, Hibberd, Smith (Hamling, McIntosh)
Mid: Fyfe, Pendlebury, Selwood, JPK, Dangerfield, Sloane, Wines, Ward (Stretch, Boston, rookie)
Ruck: Goldstein, Naitanui (Read)
Fwd: Gray, Martin, Goddard, Franklin, Swan, Deledio (Dale, McInnes)

This is an ideal sort of scenario. Hopefully it happens but injury/suspension can change everything.

Yeah well knowing Supercoach in general, plans like these will rarely execute!! but good luck mate, trades seem solid and ur moving up the rank which is great.

PowerBug

Yep good plans I like it. Only thing is are you happy with trading Rockliff? You held him one round, he might be back for 13 (unlikely for 12) and then it's not an issue if you held. Only questionable decision, the rest is great and a full premo team post bye is great.

I held him last week because I had other issues to deal with.

Ideally I would like to keep him but it took him a while to get back to decent scoring after he came back.

Happy to trade him at this stage and Wines looks the right person to bring in. 100+ in every game bar the one he got injured. The tag goes to Boak and Gray before anyone else as well.

AaronKirk

Trade 1 for this week changes from Cripps to Boston to Cripps to Pearce (via McKenzie DPP) now that Stretch has been named for Melbourne and McKenzie is out. I now have 20 on field this week-  hoping for no subs.

AaronKirk

I had another pretty decent week scoring 2,045 and moving to 895th overall.

Trades done last week were Cripps/Rockliff/Bellchambers to A.Pearce/Wines/Goldstein.

Below is a summary of my season

My trades for this week at this stage are Oxley/Saad/McKenzie to Smith/Hodge/Hamling

My team after trades for Round 12 below. 9 trades and $56,500 left. Only 1 upgrade left and should be able to have 19-20 this week and next.

PowerBug

Looks like you have it all worked out good work, with 18+ playing the next two weeks you will surely move up further in the rankings. Which Forward are you looking at to finish off your team? Also will you look at getting either Kade Simpson or Corey Enright, both who are scoring very well. That way you can have a quality D7.

AaronKirk

Eventually I will look to get good coverage across the lines. Will have 7 trades left after next week at full premo.

AaronKirk

I managed to score 1,799 last weekend in what was a tough SC week. Still managed to move from 895th to 516th overall.

Below is my current side. Players in bold don't have the bye in round 13

Def: R.Murphy, J.Gibson, M.Hibberd, B.Smith, Hamling, K.McIntosh (A.Pearce, H.Shaw)

Mid: N.Fyfe, S.Pendlebury, P.Dangerfield, R.Sloane, J.Kennedy, L.Hodge, C.Ward, J.Selwood, (O.Wines, T.Dumont, B.Stretch)

Ruck: T.Goldstein, N.Naitanui (T.Read)

Fwd: D.Martin, B.Goddard, D.Swan, L.Franklin, B.Dale, R.Gray (J.Hogan, F.McInnes)

Before trades I can field 17 (depending on selections) and loophole in defence. I have 9 trades and $56,500 left

Deledio is coming in this week to finish my forward line and to have 22 premium/keepers.

Trades I am looking at are at this stage:

1) McIntosh to Fantasia/Kavanagh (whichever is named) via Hodge DPP
2) Dumont to Lambert (if named)
3) McInnes to Deledio

I like this option because I can keep Hogan at F7 and use him to bring in a M9 in a couple of weeks.

The alternative option (if Lambert is not named) is below

1) McIntosh to Fantasia/Kavanagh
2) Hogan to Deledio

Thoughts on either plan? Any other suggestions. Thanks in advance

Ringo

Do you need the Dumont trade to complete the trades or do you have enough without. Reason for asking if able to field a team without then I would hold and do Dumont to Steele/Lambert if named next week. Lambert still only played the one game.

If you need the cash then I would still do Dumont to Lambert as Lambert can sit at M11 for you until Hogan ripe to upgrade.

Mcintosh has to go as imo he has peaked and will continue to bleed cash.

2nd option is also sound saves a trade but think it bleeds all your cash.

To keep Hogan as F7 I would need to do all 3 trades for option one.
