Anybody with some decent Senior Scottish players? There's a community friendly for Scotland Vs NZ in a few weeks, so was asked to spread the word out :p. If your player is pretty decent but may not make Nats (or even if he's just young), can give Allflattious a message and put his name down for the friendly 8).

Doesn't hurt to do so ;).

Rebuilds don't happen at my clubs, I just go out trying to win every game possible! I honestly thought I was relegating this season, but I've won my last 5 in SOD and Torp fell to bits so I should survive now unless I go really bad again and he goes well.

If you look at my 4 wins (1 was against an almost bot so doesn't count) my best thre players by fantasy points:
Byrd 29, Lwana 30, Madu 23
Madu 23, Maloney 26, Aronstam 31
Lwana 30, Aronstam 31, Roach 31
Livera 25, Bitwott 30, Al-Attiyah 27
The younger guys are performing, and performance is what will keep me in Div 1 ;) Lwana and Bitwott will be useful for next season anyway, and then hopefully half of season 32.

Just out of interest, where do you see my holes? If you sort my squad number you can see my squad breakdown. 16 Bats, 31 fast, 41 fm, 51 meds, 61 fs, 71 ws, 81 ARs, 91 Keepers.

- Top 5 batters are currently ( 31,29,28,25,25) Other batters in squad are 22 and 21. I reckon you need a bat or 2 aged between 24-26. For Livera and Hankey
- Fast bowlers should be fine. Age isn't too big of a gap
- FM"s, Gama and Wick are gonna be beasts, bit young atm though. Once Roach goes, lacking in the FM area, especially if Al-Attiyah tours
- Finger spinners fine
- Wrist spinner. Only 1 and he's young
- Keepers and All-rounders should be fine

My batsmen will be no issue, but I may need to buy another bowler until my 21-22yos become superstars of my squad.  ;)

I won't be going down in T20 at least.

You are in an interesting position.
You almost have a full XI between (20-22)
That could be too much if you are planning on sticking with your 25yo+ players

Fair. I originally planned to play Palanivel all T20 this season, he's played 7 of 11 and should play 2 of the final 3. the BH talent can hopefully let me hide him down the order on batting pitches or opening for the low scoring pitches as he's Aronstams replacement.

Nasser touring will leave me in a pickle quick bowling wise good point :\

I think the trouble I have though is I'm on my squad limit. If I choose to hold onto three 19yos (so both batsmen listed above and my u19 NAT AR) then I will have 23 players, 22 once PC ends and Roach goes. But there is a gap there in my bowlers, once Bitwott, Lwana, Roach go it's really understrength, maybe I will look into it and see what I should do. I may just have to fasttrack Gamaarachchi unfortunately.

Sunny/Green. 21yo medium went 10-1-42-2, Madu the 23yo med AR went 8-0-18-1. Other 3 bowlers took 2 each + a runout lead to Torp being rolled for 162.

I chased it in 36.1 overs. Shame it was only a friendly though! Beating Torp for fun again! Now to back it up in the reesbr shield and get that Champions spot from him!!

You were safe anyway seeing as you had the bot next week, but well done :) I can't do T20 at all so I am happy to throw the early season games for PC and then just camp in Div 2 :)

Keep in mind Fastmann and Withrange will still bat if not selected. The other 3 guys I have bowling at the moment are and RFS, RFS and LWS.

If I choose both Withrange and Fastmann it means I can add an outs/outs batsman to the lineup and probably set a more aggressive batting lineup and try bat first?

shouldn't really of relegated had a crap start to the season and side wasn't rating that high but has exploded with pops and ratings in late season


bright side though is i'm back into Div 1 for 20/20 and promoting to div 2 in SOD trying to get back to div 1 in that too
