I think 1 more season out of the game and then I pounce.
Doh, ya should of told us earlier as i thought you would be odds on to snap up most of the top quality players. I thought i would get in early and have already spent most of my mula :(

As for my season the Coyote's struggled whilst blooding youths in SOD and T20. They managed 5th & 5th though in Div 4.

The young Coyote pups went back to back with promotions earning them Div2 8)

So it's impossible to break into my club's Hall of Fame, currently got 9 members after I inducted 2 new members today.

This guy is like the heart and soul of the club. I pulled him Wk 0 of Season 15 (So I was entering my 2nd full season), avg/dread pull, nothing else that special. 4 seasons later it's 3061 YOD runs after playing every single match (over 800 runs clear of 2nd to this day). Also had about 50 senior games to his name by that point (There was no training penalty for fatigued players back then). Put another 11 seasons behind him, and it's a total of 11,772 competitive runs. He's not top in either SOD (2nd) or T20 (3rd) but the fact he's been with the club for all those seasons from the start. Basically he's seen the club rise from where I start right up to Div 1. 31yo next season so has two and half seasons left and I really hope I can find a way to pick up a senior Div 1 trophy in that time.

This one is just as incredible I feel. I bought him start of season 18, he was the first wrist spinner I had bought. With a lot of other positions I have bought 1 season fixes to improve my side (or even one week fixes in some cases) but in terms of a wrist spinner, I've never played another one ahead of him, it's been Buddy from Season 18 to this day. He is equal 5th all time for SOD wickets (176), but a clear first in T20 wickets (175). There one thing that I never forget about Austin, and it was his performance against Torp in our 4th match ever. link here. He didn't get in the votes, but it was the way he basically gave my team a chance which I never forget (And neither does Torp, because he had that game WON). Now he's about to be 33yo, he's still the lead spinner, and he will definitely play through my PC run, but after that? Well it depends on how close I am to a SOD title, because he's still my number 1 WS option (His skills are gonna drop badly this season though, gonna be sad to see).

I just felt like dribbling all that out, two club legends right there. And when I think about it these are the last two players from the original PBCC side that I created from the bottom up, the next oldest player Franklin Byrd (28yo) started playing SOD properly when I was in Div 1, so he's from the 2nd wave of players.

Needs 28 more for 400. It's going to happen early next season I reckon :) I'm so low on backup bats this season it could even happen this season if I have a good PC run and he is on rest training most of the way.

Game between me and Nigey on Random/Random settings.

He's gotta brand new bowler and batter to test out, and i've got a new middle order (finisher talent) batter to test out myself. So if you're bored, come watch.

I was hoping I could get his new guy for a Golden :P But Sharma made 65. Warren got him, so it's all good ;)

Walkley's my finisher, but didn't even get started.  :(

Sharma was great on his club debut, can't say the same for Ivor Beacham though, 0-35 off his first spell.

spare ratings is the sublevels in each skill between the current level they are at and the next level

it is calculated on a scale i.e
atrocious - 0
dreadful - 1000
poor - 2000
ordinary - 3000

and so on

PowerBug

Helps you determine how close to a pop a player is.

So as mentioned, the 7 trainable skills contribute to the player ratings. A player with say accomplished batting, has at least 8,000 rating points. if he has expert, he has at least 9000. So accomplished means that he has somewhere between 8,000 and 8,999 rating points in Batting, you don't know exactly how many though.

So add up the minimum number for eash skill of your player, and subtract that from their actual player ratings, and you know how many spare he has hiding in those skills, and thus you have an idea whether he is close to a pop or not :)

And generally when there is between 4000 - 5000 points difference, the player is due to pop.

Pkbaldy

So Boulos Zatman is on 52,890 and doing that calculation he's on 50,000. So does that mean he's a couple weeks off popping?? Because I wouldn't mind his batting to pop to Spec.

It means he has 2890 spare ratings (52890 - 50000)

When he gets to between 4000 & 5000 points then he is "normally" close to popping.  I am not too experienced with the amount of gain per training for seniors, but my current 20 & 21yo seniors are only getting between 140 and 180 per week (in a superior academy on primary training).

So I would say you are a while off getting a pop.
