Got a Humid/Green today. First four bowlers are rf, rf, rfm, rfm, two of which are all rounders. Which should be my 5th bowler?

Turns out he made a last day pitch swap to Hard, which is really puzzling because Hard is my favoured deck ??? So that makes the decision easier and I'll pick Lwana.

On a humid/crumbling pitch would people normally play 1 or 2 spinners?

PowerBug

two for sure, 3 if you like them.

I've bookmarked the following two matches for when people next choose to complain:
http://www.fromthepavilion.org/gamedetails.htm?gameId=3148103
Look at the score, then look at the ratings. Also a reason to always try, coz you never know.

http://www.fromthepavilion.org/gamedetails.htm?gameId=3193439
Look at the score in the chase. 116/1 with 10 overs left, 33 runs required. It's obviously game over isn't it??

Looked at the 1st one. Well and truly beats my underdog PB. Screw Hawthorn as underdogs by 87k to win :o Remarkable! What are the odds?

Trying to work out how the El Dude stuffed that up as it was only ever his to lose.
He had the better bowling line up for the conditions too imo.

1) I thought maybe all his 29/30 year old's might of been shattered from the PC or something but it was only the 2nd week of the season and a squad of 20 to choose from.

2) The number 87.  Nup, NZ Division and not one Aussie player in his side

3) After seeing hawthorns ratings from week one, he went in with shonky experimental orders thinking he could blitz it. (Most Likely)

Looks like he maybe went too Aggressive at the top chasing early % in the season and it backfired big time.

His #4 & #6 on (D) imo, held things together quite well until the 25th and 28th and easily managed to keep the RR up at 4.3. Once they were gone though, the keeper and the tail still had a fair bit to do needing a tad over a ton but still doable if they could bat the remaining 22 overs.

Some more (A) orders? maybe, but the the damage was done by one of the top 3 not hanging around.

Enter the wildcard wristy on a sticky to take the crucial and timely wickets of the AR Seam Spec captain (definitely on A) plus their finishing keeper before the 40th and all of a sudden the bowlers are exposed and are in disarray wondering if they packed their bats. (the crowd would not of been happy)

4) Screw Hawthorn are just too good a side that should never be underestimated and their coach can hack into the FTP system.

Other than that, I dont know how the hell he lost it if he went in with half decent orders and that side.
It's a bit like the Aussies the other day in the 1st ODI in NZ :(

PLEASE BRING IN USIE!

Note: To be able to see his orders and check out how exactly he flowered up would be interesting. Even if we could still access the Manhattan, that would shed some light too.
In the end the though the power favourites got rolled, the underdogs re-write the record books and gain legendary status and their fans are probably still celebrating the victory. Great Story!

PowerBug

Yeah that's pretty ridiculous, he backed it up two week slater with like a 50k upset or something.

I'm equal 1st in my attempt to return to Div 1, but lots of NRR down so the other guys needs to lose a game. I'm doing my best to stuff things up for myself today:

S. Stevens (rfm) 10-0-45-1, N. Al-Attiyah 11 (14b), G. Maloney 6 (13b)
End of over 30 (3 runs) - PowerBugCC(140-5) RR 4.67
Only 1 All Rounder today (Coz this is 8th place so I played a younger fast bowler instead) so it's all bowlers after this partnership. Humid/Dry are the conditions and I know once I pass 200 it's defendable for me but I'm still nervous right now.

L. Witt (rws) 6-1-25-0, P. de Bakker 7 (15b), T. Belldozer 38 (68b)
End of over 30 (5 runs) - Cuban Allstars(125-4) RR 4.17
Side in 1st is batting here on a Slow, he should still win from here but wickets would make this game interesting.

That upset of major proportions :o :o :o :o :o. No idea how they managed to lose that with their ratings.

If you were referring to my post you might be right  :P

I was logged on and attempting to work out that match after partaking in some wacky backy for the first time in about 5 years lol. After much deliberating it was the best solution to that match i could come up with at the time and could well be off the mark haha.

If Screw Hawthorn backed it up 2 weeks later with another great upset win, then maybe the best and easiest summation is that his team should never be under estimated.

PowerBug

No, the win was ridiculous, you post made sense :) was surprised you went so indepth with it though!
