I love this!
Keep up the good work Wato!
Id love to see Goddard, Lids, Martin, Swan, Hibberd, Dal San To and Shaw
As I wonder how good they are when they are on the ground!

Ricochet

Barlow had an injury interrupted season so that would explain his limited game time

Keeper27

Looks like Barlow/Treloar/Boak and 1 of wells and rich are on the radar

_wato

Thanks so much for the positive feedback boys! Yeah, really keen on Barlow, and you're exactly right Rico, that explains it all.

Goddard 1.03 at 83%
Lids 0.97 at 88.6%
Dusty 1.0 at 83%
Swan 0.88 at 86.4%
Hibberd 0.89 at 91.4%
NDS 1.04 at 82.6%
Shaw 0.9 at 85.5%

*Rich and Wells stats are from 2013 to get a larger sample

Rich 0.88 at 81.7%
Wells 1.03 at 77.9%

All of them are what I expected accept for Hibberd do you think he will play 90% of game time again this year as I don't really see him improving with ppm
And Lids and Swan are getting on do you seem the tog decreasing (doesn't really matter with Swan as he will improve ppm)

Ricochet

Just be careful getting excited about high ppm and low TOG... We were all excited about JZ last year for exactly the same thing. There is always a reason why players have less TOG than others

This will determine who I'm not picking rather than who I do pick if that makes sense.

Another thing I find useful is points per disposal. This gives you an idea of how effective someone is when they touch the ball

I haven't had a look at the numbers but someone like Sidebottom is the guy to look at in this category. If you expect him to have 2 more disposals per game next year and he averages something stupid like 7 points a touch due to good ball use then he might hit a 120 average

Marc Murphy is one guy that normally has a high point per disposal number but his touches went down due to resting forward for extended periods and the tag in a couple of games

Jack Macrae scores as much as GAJ when on the ground. Not bad for a 2nd year player.

How on earth do you work that out :/. 1.25>1.04 last i checked... But hey.. things change.

taking into account GAJ has 10% more TOG that's why meow said 'when on the ground' still don't think it's as much as GAJ but closer then you're thinking

If Macrae was to play the same amount of game time as Ablett he'd average 112.9.

Couldn't agree more, could maybe look into that and add that to the initial post where everyone's PPM's are. Very very interesting indeed.

That's irrelevant mate... think of all the other stats. tackles, marks etc. What you're asking for is basically just DE%

Isnt the point per minute figure worked out from time they are on the ground? Say they played 80 minutes and averaged 80. It would be 1 point per minute.
