Decided I'd have a look at the top 20 (and a few more) players points per minute and their TOG %'s just as a bit of a tool to monitor how players went throughout the 2014 season. I find it invaluable and love comparing players I'm thinking of choosing.

This can be updated if people have requests but I only did this for a bit of fun and to see what people thought of it..

If Rocky can get to 90% TOG like Gaz... :o

That's exactly what I thought, and what really stood out to me.. Wow, he'd average over 140!

Barlow also, only 78% but more ppm than Jelwood and nearly as much as Fyfe and Pendles.. Would average 120+  if he played 85% game time, just unreal.

And Sidey, has enough game time but will get more of the footy this year, he could really become a true elite premium this year, very interesting indeed.

Jack Macrae scores as much as GAJ when on the ground. Not bad for a 2nd year player.

Yeah, he's gonna be an absolute star if he continues on like this

Hellopplz

Lets see if Rocky can keep it up next season :o.

I noticed Barlow as well, low TOG% compared to others. Was thinking the exact same as what you just posted Wato ;D. 85% and damn :o.

Can see the usual big name rucks in Goldy, Mummy and Jacobs play majority of the game, although thought Goldy may have had a bit higher PPM, maybe around Mummy's one.

Nice stuff Wato, certainly is interesting. Could even try seeing how prime green-vested players went with their PPM, as reckon some could actually be quite huge if boosted by big performances (e.g. Zac O'Brien's 100 score as sub).

Was that going into this year? Because he only averaged 1.04 this year at 80% game time.

If Rocky can keep it up, that's insane. Might punt it on Barlow by looking at those stats, could be a great POD to Fyfe however I'd have to make sure I had Ablett/Pendles/Selwood and I'd miss out on a Rd 11 mid, which I didn't want to do.

Goldy would be up there taking away his first few games where he had one arm! After the bye he was a monster, I'd even say it'd be around Sandi's PPM.

Yeah I can do more, quite happy to do so if people want to put in requests! Could be interesting looking at that, just as you said HP.

Please, let's not ruin a good story with accurate facts. I meant in 2015!

I had NFI what his PPM stats were, but he scored fantastically for me in AF all year! Was stoked that I started with him ;D

Hellopplz

Yeah, making me consider Barlow even more as certainly won't be as popular as Fyfe so a nice unique choice. I try to get like one of them in at least and use to be Priddis/Boyd but usually a youngster lately (went Treloar this season).

;D ;D. Facts have no place in Fantasy Football!

fasttrack13

2160 available TOG (min) average 98 mins on ground between 22 players
480 available bench time (min) average 22 mins off ground between 22 players
Average of 81% TOG for all 22 players.

Interesting looking at the work wato did a few of players under that suggests might be an increase for them in 2015...
Barlow, JPK etc...

Dayze

Great stats Wato.
Room for improvement with time on ground very important if trying to spot a breakout.
Can u do Greene, wines, Heppell or Treloar...
Cheers mate
