Hey everyone, have been looking at a mid priced back and looked a colq but by a couple of new articles he might not be ready for round 1, what are people thoughts on Savage, has dpp this year and could he make the improvement in his scoring this season that we hoped for last year?

WizzFizz

#1
savage is locked for me at d3-4

he could play running half back and avg 95+

at 370k he is cheap due to the many sub games before he was on form

what are the confirmations of having dpp?

Ricochet

Colq should be right for round 1 i think mate. He ran top 3 in their opening 3kms

If Savage continues that hb role he is a great pick imo. Averaged 91 after moving back there in RD14

kilbluff1985

prefer Seedsman over him

Where is all this love for Colq even coming from?? He barely got a game

He did his ACL man and he's a fantasy pig. Finds heaps of the footy

i probably shouldn't have delisted him in americas sc lol but nobody else took him in rookie draft either

He didn't even come across my mind until now but now I really like the look of him!

ADEZ

Highly considering him..

As for Colquhoun, he would need injuries or some impressive SANFL form before he cracks the side early, is behind Broadbent & Pittard and Impey and O'Shea for a similar position (both of whom aren't far off fringe nonetheless)

He will see game time I'm sure, as will the GOAT Amon

A dude who has played just 8 games and is coming off an ACL will have a tough time trying to break into the best 21 of a gun team.

Exactly

Port will be one of, if not the best team.

No chance he cracks their best 22 consistently this year.

As for Hector Savage', if he is playing of half back during the NAB and preseason, he is an option for sure

noone is saying lock him in, but he's just as good of a rookie pick as any of the other defenders

Colq is defiantly worth considering.
Would pick Biggs first though.
Savage will be a great pick just an awkward price.

fasttrack13

i disagree about savage. Jimmy Webster as he has an elite kick will be that running HB maybe one on the wing the other at half back.
I think mav weller would be one to watch as he's probably st.kilda's main inside mid now!

Mat0369

David Armitage is the number 1 inside mid at the club, it is about time he had a consistent breakout season but I would only really consider him in a draft side
