I prefer your other team better mate.
Even though you are weak in your forward line your other likes are amazing!

I will plug the other team into the higginator instead of SC Gold and see what points and byes look like.   Thanks for the feedback MS

Jaensch to Lumumba
Sloane/Ward to fyfe

Changes to upgrade rucks.   Downgraded jaensch to lumumba, belly to rookie, and upgraded sloan to fyfe.

Great team you have there structure wise.

Not sure on Hurn and Jaensch though think there are better picks.
I don't know why everyone is picking Mitchell when Gray, Lids, Goddard, Franklin, Martin and Swan are going to out socre him by 5-10 whats the point of spending 400k on a guy who you are probably going to trade.
That's just my opinion though.

Would love your thoughts on my team.

Because at some pt the is a high chance he will make 100k, then one of the other guys you mentioned might very well have a off week or 2 and fall to 500k or below. You could get an upgrade with only one trade.

IIRC Last yr i started Higgins and then sideways traded him too Franklin, nice upgrade with 1 trade.

Or Mitchell could be a keeper playing in the Swans midfield every week after a full PS which he has never had.

Whats the pt of having a cookie cutter team that does well but can't move away from those around them because everything is based on the previous yrs avg.'s  and lack fore site

I'm all for uniqueness and obviously don't want a cookie cutter team but think you should try and do that In the defence more so than other lines.
You do have a good point about Mitchell though!
I doubt I'll be picking him but can see where you are coming from.

Remember last year when it was Parker or Mitchell.     I would be happy to see a 95 avg and cash out up to Martin, Franklin.  If mitchell gets games in the Swans centre who knows what he will score.    Also with two prem rucks I am deciding to trade through injuries instead of Belly.

Goal was mid with superprems,  set and forget rucks.   3 prem forwards,  To get a good DPP to centre was considering Swan for Watson, and move Bennell into forwards.    Comments

Team 10 following NAB games.       hard to avoid the old NAB performance trap.
Def:   Shaw, Newnes, Lumumba, Higgins, Goodes, McIntosh, (Dalgleish, Saad)
Mids: Pendles, Ward, JPK, Gray, Lewis, Newton, Cripps, Heeney, (Boekhorst, VDB, Steele)
Ruc:  Goldy, NicNat   or Minson or Maric (Read)  ( not sure on R2)  tempted to forgo Bellc in the fwds
Fwds: Martin, Bennell, Bont, Bellc, clark, hogan (Daniel/Salem, Lambert)

Cash 155,400.    Could go Belly to Tmitch,  Also Daniel to Salem.
12 keepers probably 13 as I expect Bont to go close to 110 average this year and is lock for 100+.
Loved Goodes in backline and glad to see new coach is going to support him.

Dropped Swan as he has not been impressive and possible 90-95 avg this year.    If he steps up then I might trade up to him later.

Appreciate the feedback guys

Nice team.
Defense: Very good, Higgins pick only 50/50 pick but it could go ok. Could possibly use cash to get Simpson or Shaw instead of him?
Midfield: Very good midfield, only concern I would have is the premos are a bit weak and would try and get in Fyfe or Selwood at M2. You probably have your reasons for Gray and Lewis but maybe get an extra 70k and get Sloane and Sewlood?
Rucks: Would go Goldy, NicNat combo.
Forward: Can't fault it only maybe try and get Salem, Clark and another rookie on field

Nic Nat and Salem for those spots your not sure on and your team will be flying!

would love your thoughts on mine!

Well getting down to the wire and having to think about who will play (or be upgraded off rookie list).  So in case Goodes is not upgraded and to reduce my ruck risk I have made a couple of changes.    After doing more research on Swan have decided to treat him like a good stock,  not likely to go down much, with chance of improving,   Bennell is stll likely to have a good year but reduced my risk putting Swan back in.  (meow meow will be happy).

Tossing up between Bellc or another rookie.   If I need cash I will probably go this route.   Wells is my path to a GAJ trade around week 6-7.

Team 11
Def:   Shaw, Newnes, Lumumba, Higgins, McIntosh,Dalgleish,(Oxley, Saad)
Mids: Pendles, Fyfe, Beams, Ward, Wells, Miller, Cripps, Heeney, (CEY, VDB, Krakour)
Ruc:  Goldy, Maric (Read)  gone guns for rucks.
Fwds: Gray, Martin, Swan, Bont, Bellc, Clark, (Salem, Lambert)

Figure Bellc for 80+,  Clark for 80+, Swan 100+, martin 95-105
Strong Mids with wells to upgrade for GAJ later.
Happy with fwds
Def: Happy with this team as expect Newnes, Lumumba, Higgins to get mid time and rack up points similar to expensive Malck, Smith, and co.
If Goodes is made available I will upgrade a back and downgrade Bellc.
