it is early days, but i am not sure I trust bellchambers to be the saviour people are making him out to be.

At this point, i am happy to be the guy with a griffin/sinclair/lobb as my R3

He will be a bigger savior then 3 blokes with 0 JS ;)

not if doesnt play himself, or does another knee, then the guys trying to loop him with cox are screwed with no ruck cover
Belly might not be the answer but you will need a strong DPP link or a sstrong R3.

yeah, but structure wise, right now i would rather sit $250-$300k on my ruck bench than $100k and bellchambers in the fwds
Belly is only 300k man?

yeah, but i am talking about having that money in the ruck, not sitting in the fwds

It means i can pick my premiums with confidence i wont need to restructure if things go wrong

Ah yeh ok, just you didn't list him with griffin/sinclair/lobb and then said you would spend 300k on an R3. Was just checking :P

This is what I love about SC lots of variations and differing opinion.
Bring it on!

Usually I wouldn't think twice about Belly, but with Ryder gone and only having 1 ruck on the bench, playing him the forward line seems logical

Should be able to make 100-150k too

I think its better to have him playing forward, as opposed to having 300k sitting on the bench

If you put him or any other cheaper ruck on the bench, you have to skimp in the forwards anyway, so at this stage I think we need to be playing a ruck in the forwards

This is the strategy I will be taking.

he is a decent option in the forward line anyway, even removing the fact he is a F/R. at 300k he is underpriced and if he gets the number 1 spot he could score really well for a forward as rucks score big in SC.

Im at this stage going Goldy Nic Nat with Belly up front.

Exactly!

Priced at 30 ppg under what he should average at the very least. 2 seasons above 80 average already and that was with Ryder.

RaisyDaisy

Yep, I've got NicNat and Luey with Belcho up front so far

Not convinced on either NicNat or Leuey at this stage, but once I hear how their preseasons have gone I will change them if necessary

Belly is dirt cheap and way underpriced, and with only ruck bench spot I am convinced he is required as a forward for coverage

NicNat and Leuey just concern me a bit at this stage because they are getting over injuries. As long as they get through the preseason then I am locking them in :)

actually im thinking why even play bellchambers up front.

Im starting to think Goldy Bellchambers with no cover to take the punt.

too injury prone and too many rucks in the squad. With burger im worried about martin as he was just soo good.

Bellchambers im thinking should easily take number 1 from Giles.

Belly will have first dibs on our number 1 ruck role. Can see him averaging 80-85. Not huge, but he's still underpriced nonetheless, so you won't be losing points by having him in your team early. Could end up as a R/F bench option once teams are settled too.

The only thing is who to leave out of my forwards :(
