Spent most of the year injured so we really didn't get to see much of him.He will be nice and cheap and may be an option at D6 to start with. His scoring potential will depend entirely on the role he plays for the Saints.Would need to see him in the NAB cup to get some kind of an idea if he is worth taking a chance on.

Don't know why anyone would ever consider him

He could, injury free, get back to an 80ish average and could make some cash, but not enough to consider.

300k, rumors are he could get a spot in the midfield which gives him the capability of going 85+. With the lack of back options you would be silly to not consider picking him.

Every year there are rumours that players will spend more time in the midfield, or have a new role this year that will see their points increase dramatically. 9 times out of 10 it never happens. Fact is he's never once averaged over 80 for a season, and I don't see that changing now. For roughly the same price I would rather look at someone like Pittard who averaged 70 last year unsubbed and has shown he has the ability to score big (4 scores 90+ in last 9 games), just isn't doing it consistently yet, or Ricky Henderson who is coming off an injury affected year, but did average 85 in 2013.

not saying pick him but there are pletny reasons to do so. I dont do midpricers unless they are injured premos like waters. If i was down back than geary would be right up there.

Rhymenoceros

Fair enough, we've all got our own opinions. Agree with not picking midpricers on a whole, but yeah just feel if someone was to go that route there are some better options around than Geary.

I don't think I could ever bring myself to pick a bloke named Jarryn :-\
