Got his average back up to just over 100 this season. He slotted in nicely to the Roos team and put up some pretty nice fantasy scores. He gained DPP Mid/Def in the AF comp during the season and many coaches are hoping he will gain it here as well.
His Fanplanner price is $556,200 which is around the price of Toby Greene,Kieren Jack,David Mundy,Trent Cotchin and Dan Hannebery.
If he gets DPP he is a good pick for your defence,if he doesn't I'd rather pick Cotchin or Hannebery who are both a little cheaper.

Money Shot

He is a lock if dpp which is annoying because he is a extra 50k than players like Shaw. But he would be withy the money!

And with the Money Shot.

GM

Not a lot of dpp defenders so I think he's a really good chance.

Hmm, as we've seen so far with the MID/FWD DPP's I think they may be a little lenient and offer him it, seeing as there isn't much defenders that standout and are to choose from (basically how the forwardline was before they changed that).

NDS, Shaw, Hibberd and Birchall as my four premiums sounds very nice to me.

Ricochet

Yep he's definitely locked in for me if a defender. Defence is probably the hardest line this year so will need a proven top end scorer in there. Tags might put people off starting him and see him as an upgrade target though

_wato

Thinking about that Rico, I might wait on him then.. Adelaide, Brisbane, Port, Geelomg, Hawks, Richmond, Essendon, Fremantle, Collingwood, WC, Sydney before the bye is a very very tough run.

NDS did the right thing at the end of the year and threw in some shockers to lower his price for 2015. He'll be 31 but he has never been injured so his body should be in good shape. More of a lock than all of the new forwards if (when) given defender status.

_wato

You're right GL and he did score very well, however I was more eluding to the fact that his second half of the year (no mention about how well he went against those teams aforementioned) compared to the first part of the year was a massive contrast.

Rounds 1-9 (He averaged 117).
Rounds 10 onwards and excluding finals (He averaged only 95).

I'm a little hesitant to pick him based on that form (although he did average 126 in finals) because of his ability to get tagged and I'm not really sure of his role in their team exactly, but that could change quite soon.. Will watch in preseason, but hopefully after RD 5 he's sitting pretty cheap and will be able to be picked up.

Well, his only bad scores, believe it or not, were against GWS and the Dees, where he scored 49 and 53 respectively. However, that game against the Dees he was a starting sub for some reason :o

So that hurts his average a fair bit haha. Didn't have any other bad games I don't think, so I'm more than happy to lock him in as a defender

_wato

Still makes his average for the second half of this year only 98.3 and his overall average to 105.2, which is pretty sound for a defender when you think about it. I'm still considering things.

dmac07

As a mid won't give him any consideration.

If he becomes a defender will be one of about 8 guys  I have to decide between as starting premiums for 3-4 spots. But maybe look at a Dal Santo, Hibberd, Shaw backline.

I think Scott wanted to rest him and he refused and made him make him sub.

Absolute lock for me in  defence. If deletion swan got dpp he should be a a defender or its a joke. He actually took about half of norths kick ins.

Dayze

Yeh will definedly get DPP.
The only defender I feel completely at ease picking
