T Dog

Sloane to Priddis and Simpson to Rockliffe if you have spare cash Ringo? Get them on field.

Capper

Hold Sloane and Lumumba as the Dees draw is better now

Oxley is approaching his top unless you are keeping him for the year. McIntosh is a worry as well.

Im thinking of trading Oxley and McIntosh out for Lever and Glenn if they are named

Ringo

Only had minimal cash so have decided on a double downgrade,

Salem to Dale a week early I know but he can sit at D8 as well.
Newton to Lever via Saad. Saad on Field and Vanders as emergency.

Both trades help my overall bye situation as Dale and Lever have round 11 byes. Helps my bye situation which now becomes 8/10/12.

Leaves me with $370k for upgrades and more if Glenn plays next week.  Only 18 trades left which is the issue thanks to injury.  Keeping Sloane to try and save a trade and he should be back for Round 12 to help with byes as well.

Like most leaving defence till after other lines sorted.

Thoughts appreciated.

Team after proposed trades subject to reversals on final team announcements.

T Dog

Any ideas on who you hope to get in next week Ringo?

Ringo

Not yet Tdog will make a decision next week based on B/E

Round 8 Update;

Think I am going to give up and just not analyse any more:

Round 8 Score: 1898
Round 8 Ranking 123,571
Overall Ranking: 35903

Having my worst year ever since my initial year in the competition.  Was projected to get 2198 at start of round but as we know potatoes for half my team. (Selwood, Watson, Goldstein, Bonts as prems and rookies hitting the wall Miller, Cripps, Krack and Tarrant).

Trades done for Round 8
Salem to Lambert
Newton to Lever (Is not hindsight wonderful)

Did these for cash so have a bit this week.

Round 8 Team:
D: H. Shaw, Lumumba, McIntosh, Newness, Simpson Oxley (Lever, McKenzie)
M: Fyfe, Selwood, Kennedy, Watson, Miller, Cripps, Saad. Krakouer (Stretch, Vandenberg  >:( >:(, Sloane)
R: Goldstein, Naitanui (Read)
F: Bontempelli, Swan, Gray, Betts , Tarrant, Lambert (Bellchambers, Clark).

Trades: Cripps/Miller to Rocky probably a done deal (Probably Cripps as both have round 11 bye and suits my structure)

2nd trade is where I am struggling and would like some advice
Options:
a) Lumumba to Pendles via Saad (leaves defence still requiring upgrades but no defender stands out at the moment)
b) Lumumba to Docherty/Yeo
c) Lumumba to Picken (uses most cash but will Picken still be top 10)
c) Tarrant to Pendles via Krack. (Loses my DPP though)  Pendles has a high B/e and may be able to wait a week.
d) Miller/Cripps to Pendles
e) Tarrant to Dalhaus/Buddy/Goddard

Not worried about trades as I reckon I need to get some order back in my team.

T Dog

Perhaps option (a) probably best strategy Ringo before Harry bleeds more cash.
Get scorers on field  ;)

Lumumba to pendles sounds good. Not really any defenders are standouts. Maybe mcdonald ir picken.

Pendles is a must have though

Capper

and you were beaten by Capper!!!!!

Ringo

#129
At this stage looking at Lumumba to Rocky and Tarrant to Dahlhaus.  Have analysed team and these are the 2 players that will lose most this week.  Cripps and Miller capable of getting close to their B/e 85 and 62 respectively.  Pendles with a high B/e compared to Dahl can wait a week or 2.

Coincidentally these trades give me a 10/10/10 bye strategy 6/5/5 prem structure as well.

Hopefully some downgrade options pop up over the next couple of weeks.

Anybody would have beaten me this week  :D :D

PICCOLLO

Krak fwd, trade belcho to rocky.
Ryder going to be cheap soon, just trade him in if one of your rucks goes down.

Miller to pendles/ treloar/ ward/ mundy/ other premo mid you like the look of.

2 premo mid inclusions allows you to play saad in def and bench mcintosh.

Leave lumumba and look at tarrant to ryder in future weeks.

Ringo

I am really about to give up this year with all the late outs and injury carnage.

Round 9 Score: 2234
Round 9 Ranking: 39,615
Overall Ranking: 34,878

Did not make up much ground at all despite the score.

Trades done for Round 8:
Lumumba to Rockliff  :( :(
Tarrant to Dahlhaus

Team for Round 9

Looks like Round 10 will be a debacle with doubts on Sloane, Rocky, Watson, Clark, Saad, McKenzie and Bonts.
What to do this week and only 16 trades available? Waiting till teams announced to see but suggestions welcome.

Originally before all the possible outs was thinking:
Oxley to Hamling
Miller to Sidebottom
but obviously may not be able this week.

T Dog

Mate; what a bind. Rocky needs to go if out for a while. Get in Franklin and Wallis I reckon

Ringo

Thanks Tdog - next year remind to not give a toss about byes as well as injuries. Was concentrating on byes with trades as well over the last couple of weeks and currently have 10/10/10 but look what that got me Haha.

Anyway depends on teams named - Personally I reckon Rocky will be back in Round 12.
