Means I have weakened forward line slightly but still maintained a strong side.

Prefer #1 myself maybe swap Cox & Read

Big Mac

#1 looks better but i'd probably rather #2 with Walters downgraded to a rookie and then the money spent elsewhere (maybe upgrade Rich to Watson and Gunston to best available?)

Yea Read will come in to team 1 as well - Cox in original team but after doing some fixture analysing decided Read a much better option to take advantage of DPP.  Pies play 7 times on Friday Night thus minimising loophole with a late out,
Walters if he has a strong preseason is capable of 90+ Averaged 96 in f the final 3 home and away games after returning from injury.  Will make cash if not a keeper as well.

Side 1 for mine

The issue I have with Side 2 is Gunston and Walters. Both should be good for a 90ish average, but that's just not going to be enough come seasons end so you will need to upgrade them or fall behind

As for side 1 which I prefer, I personally think it's a little risky going with Waters at D4. He is a D5 I think, but that could change if we see more cheap defenders emerge over the coming months

I like the Set and Forget rucks in team two... If think need to strengthen fwds. Rich to a cheap rookie (Boekhorst, J.Anderson)  then Uograde Walters and gunno to

Team 1 for me!
Although I love the set and forget rucks I think it has made your other lines to weak!
Both are great teams!
Would love your thoughts on mine!

Team 1 I think is better there Ringo sir, though I do like the pick of Walters in team 2... can't say I'd replace anyone in team 1 for him though (maybe Goddard but that certainly costs you points in the short term, long term could pan out??)

As I noted in my thread on your comment on Priddis, I think f anything he's overpriced at 113, thogu agree is super consistent. I just can't see him maintaining that, expect him to drop off slightly. More value in someone like Watson or even Cotchin I think, they can pull 110-115 (maybe 105-110 for Cotchin) but I expect Priddis to be ~105-110 himself, Watson and Cotchin priced under that...

Similarly Sloane, had a big year last year, are you paying overs for him because of that? Swapping Sloane and Priddis for Watson and Cotchin gives you and extra 100k to play with and I don't think you've sacrificed much in the way of points... Consistency greater with Priddis and Sloane yes but at the end of the day I think there won't be much between them if Cotchin and Watson can get their bodies right. Riskier call but blah blah biscuit etc.

Other than that I think it looks nice. Harry Taylor a nice call, I want to see him in NAB hopefully but he might make his way into my team, big run of good scores towards the end of last season but he's a rollercoaster for sure!

Continued Playing with set and forget rucks

Did some projected scores and although other lines now look weaker overall scores did not suffer too much.

may not settle on this structure but just did for comparison purposes. Rookie place savers.

Blease may benefit at Geelong.

Gone a couple of pods in forwards as I think that LeCras will increase his out put and Waters should be good for 95 if he stays injury free,

TEAM NAME: Ringos Stars
DEF: H. Shaw, M. Hibberd, J. Newnes, B. Waters, B. Whitecross, N. Brown (M. Dick, H. Goddard)
MID: G. Ablett jnr, N. Fyfe, R. Sloane, C. Ward, D. Rich, N. van Berlo, A. Brayshaw, A. Morabito (J. Laverde, T. Dumont, N. Freeman)
RUC: S. Jacobs, T. Goldstein ( T. Read)
FWD: B. Deledio, M. LeCras, D. Swan, M. Walters, S. Blease, M. Clark (J. Hogan, J. Steele)
CASH LEFT: $4,200
Byes 8/10/12

Looks v good to me ringo!

I also am looking at Newnes but will probably go with someone more proven. Brown's JS should be good but output will be showere but obviously rookies are wait and see.

I don't mind your mids, first four a very good, and rookies are awesome. Just not too sure on Rich but that's just me.

Rucks are amazing, if NicNat is fit tho I would look at him before Jacobs and then Rich to a premo!

Fwds are similar, I'm going with 3 rookie fwd atm. LeCras is a great PoD although I think Buddy will go bang this year!

Looking great though ringo well done

Ringo

Nat and Goldy share the same bye so for bye structure Jacobs is the better fit and with H/o to advantage think he will score better than Nat.
