Very good team love the look of it!
Really not sure on LeCras with the likes of Goddard, Lids, Martin, Gray, Franklin and others all being in the forward line this year.
Apart from that I can't really fault it.

I agree here Ringo plus Lecca just seems to always cop injuries.

Continued Playing with set and forget rucks

Did some projected scores and although other lines now look weaker overall scores did not suffer too much.

may not settle on this structure but just did for comparison purposes. Rookie place savers.

Blease may benefit at Geelong.

Gone a couple of pods in forwards as I think that LeCras will increase his out put and Waters should be good for 95 if he stays injury free,

TEAM NAME: Ringos Stars
DEF: H. Shaw, M. Hibberd, J. Newnes, B. Waters, B. Whitecross, N. Brown (M. Dick, H. Goddard)
MID: G. Ablett jnr, N. Fyfe, R. Sloane, C. Ward, D. Rich, N. van Berlo, A. Brayshaw, A. Morabito (J. Laverde, T. Dumont, N. Freeman)
RUC: S. Jacobs, T. Goldstein ( T. Read)
FWD: B. Deledio, M. LeCras, D. Swan, M. Walters, S. Blease, M. Clark (J. Hogan, J. Steele)
CASH LEFT: $4,200
Byes 8/10/12

It is a very good POD side but I think there is a lot of risk in this team.

I think one of Sloane/ Ward needs to become a Rocky/JPK or Pendles and one of Rich/NVB to become a rookie.

Then IMO turn one of Waters/White X or Brown into a Premo defender.

Still then there is a fair bit of risk in the forward line based on injury history with Lecca, Swan and Walters.

Personally I'd prefer Team 1 from your post on NYE.

Did some playing around again prior to going OS and this is the team I will settle on till NAB Cup.  Heard rumours Whitecross probably will not be playing Round 1 so have taken him out as well.

TEAM NAME: Ringos Stars
DEF: M. Hibberd, H. Taylor, R. Henderson, B. Waters, S. Durdin, M. Dick (X. Richards, H. Goddard)
MID: G. Ablett jnr, N. Fyfe, R. Sloane, C. Ward, D. Rich, N. van Berlo, A. Brayshaw, A. Morabito (J. Laverde, T. Dumont, N Freeman)
RUC: T. Goldstein, N. Naitanui ( T. Read)
FWD: B. Deledio, B. Goddard, M. LeCras, D. Swan, T. Bellchambers, S. Blease (M. Clark, J. Hogan)
CASH LEFT: $27,300

Henderson I expect to get back to his best and push for premium status.  Xavier Richards will be watching in NAB cup. Have deliberately kept defence weak to see who pushes it for selection in Top 10.  Not really comfortable with any apart from Hibberd being in Top 10. Taylor will probably stay in Top 10 but rest is lottery.

Bellchambers my take is safety and a F5 scoring 70/80 each week till byes I will take.

Will be watching use of LeCras as well in NAB cup as if he gets the rumoured mid time will be a nice POD.

Most rookies are place holders and not discussing plans for downgrades to find playing rookies if need be.

Like it Ringo! Really well thought out team! Only concern would be defence, but that's easy fixed with a bit of fiddling! Nice stuff!

No Ablett Peter - Know how difficult it is to come back from shoulder injuries and he is still favouring that side as well. Think price is too much for these unknowns with Ablett atm. May change if he plays the NAB cup and has no side effects.

But you picked Pendles who also had post season shoulder surgery......

See latest team 2 posts above,  Like most have been toying and looking at varying structures.  Really happy with this team above to sit on for a while.

I actually love the Taylor pick he is doing everything possible to be a better player this pre season.
LeCras I'm not sure on but each season you need to have a few risks if you are going to do well.

Nothing to do with Taylor as a player just the job he has to do for the team on a regular basis , throws to many low scores in with a few good ones

With Taylor, although he will return a 95+ average, you need to factor in the roller coaster ride. He may change for final team but in there at the moment to get structure right.

I'd be happy with a 95 avg at 440k I don't care how inconsistent he is 8)

Absolutely love the lecras pick am going to check his price myself
Will play midfield and will be a great scorer

First Draft into SC.

Backs are a little week on purpose as defining who will be Top 10 at this stage will be very subjective.

Have used majority of cash as well

Some rookies are place holders as I want all playing from Round 1. Waiting to see extextent pf Morabito's injury as well.

Bye structure is good as well at 9/11/10. That is reasoning for some picks as well.

have changed my Team name as well to Ringos Rocky Road

Love the POD's. Sloane is an absolute gun. Very solid team so far but i'll have to wait until you pick your defenders to see which players get downgraded (either swan or le cra)?
