Thanks Tdog - next year remind to not give a toss about byes as well as injuries. Was concentrating on byes with trades as well over the last couple of weeks and currently have 10/10/10 but look what that got me Haha.

Anyway depends on teams named - Personally I reckon Rocky will be back in Round 12.

Problem is though 3 weeks is not enough to heal the rib issue. May be like this all season if injury not allowed to heal. Ablettesqish if thats a word. Let him go mate   ;)

Yeah wow you have it tough Ringo. With all those upgrades still needed (I count 6), you can't possibly trade Rockliff, you have to hold and expect that he plays Round 12 or 13.

Option 1:
Take a punt on Hamling. Oxley -> Hamling, Clark -> Franklin. Issue is it will give you another 0 during byes and you already have some injuries.

As I typed I realised you are sitting on a potential double donut in the mids. So maybe the above writing isn't going to work.

And now I realised you have a Mid/Fwd DPP link, you might have to use that this week.

Option 2:
Get a premium mid via that DPP link. Clark out, Pendlebury in. (Or Sidebottom as you want to above)
Then make the downgrade Miller -> Dumont. If you hold Oxley for the next two weeks he could level out again at that ~$360k price, so you might not lose much cash there, then you can trade him to Hamling who will on the bubble.

Now that teams announced this looks like being my trades and fingers crossed that Oxley makes the cut this afternoon.

Krakouer now that he is back to rookie list and Clark may be back next week to Dale and Rocky to Sidebottom (Rocky looks like being out till Round 14 or 15 so can not afford to sit him that long.

Byes looking OK and hoping my luck changes.

Really detesting SC this year with injuries and form.

Think I will burn through the trades and see where I land after byes.

Players in doubt to play this week Vandenberg and Clark. Watson should play but who knows and McKenzie hopefully gets up not listed on Saints injury list.

Obviously waiting for teams but thinking of these trades

Miller to Boston - (First chance I have had to get rid of Miller who has another high B/e)
Only Issue here bringing in another Round 12 bye player in Pearce but will be OK with trades next week.
This leaves me $575k for upgrades.
If Clark plays then upgrade Bellchambers if he does not then upgrade Clark to Ziebell. Can not afford to bring in a Round 12 Prem so looking at Round 13 Prem Forwards and Ziebell appears to meet needs.Other alternatives JJ Kennedy, Devon Smith, Wingard and the never again Missy Higgins.

So any other suggestions welcome to get me back up the ladder.

With Team announcements slight change of plans and these trades should give me 18 players each week baring late outs.

So trades this week:
Bellchambers to Pearce via DPPs
Vandenberg to Boston
Clark to Ziebell

Then next week
Oxley to Hamling
Miller to Beams
Saad to Hodge

Then assess again as trades running low. Cripps and McIntosh have low B/e so can afford to hold them. 

This will give me a team of going into Round 13:
B: Hodge, Shaw, Simpson, Newnes, McIntosh, Lever, Pearce, Hamling
M: Fyfe, Kennedy, Selwood, Beams, Sidebottom. Watson, Sloane, Cripps, Boston, McKenzie, Stretch
R: Goldstein, Naitanui, Read
F: Gray, Dahlhaus, Swan, Betts, Bontempelli, Ziebell, Dale, Lambert

Still minimum 3 upgrades required.

Heya Ringo - If it makes you feel any better I'm in a similar boat and also having my worst ever year of supercoach!!

I like those trades if you can afford them, the only iffy one I think is Ziebell. Possibly look at someone a little less expensive than Beams for Miller (Lewis is a bargain if you think he can lift his average a bit for the second half) to free up a bit more to spend up front? But then I don't know who would be best for you to get given you need someone this round!

Careful consideration was given before trading OX and Saad but they are not playing this week and both are near ceiling so time to cash and upgrade.
As I see it the following minimum upgrades are still required (not including those that are not performing)
2 in defence
1 mid
Fwds OK

Have 9 trades and $225k left.  As I see can finish the lines above with 4/5 trades leaving me the 4/5 correction trades and finals not ideal but best I could hope for given my season.

Just wondering whether I should look at Nenes to Hodge rather than Saad.  Newnes has a a B/e and will fall in value whilst Saad has a very low B/e. Will be handy to swing between mids and defence especially if McKenzie is kept in limbo.

I enjoy following your teams every year Ringo. You always are not afraid of paying top dollar for good premos (Beams, Sidy) and riding your rookies out to get them. Your teams always have a few PODS too, which always makes me think.

Your Def is a bit thin otherwise tracking ok. So many injuries this year.

Or just sit on the one trade as i have barring injuries and late outs a minimum 19 playing.

I wouldn't trade Selwood. I'd hold him and try to move him to M9

I'd look to make a downgrade somewhere but maybe that can be Boston (who is playing this week as GC had their bye last week) to Steele in a couple of weeks,

It would probably be best to hold off on other trades for now.
