Higgins is very interesting, love to know the thought behind that.
Midfield depth unbelievable, will it work who knows?
Rucks with the backup is good! Bellcho!
Forwards ive expressed my thoughts on BJG, no swan aswell thats a big call...! Walters is a favourite of mine!

You can bet my manhood that this will not be my starting team but here is a first attempt.

DEF: N. Malceski, M. Hibberd, S. Higgins, B. Waters, S. Biggs, D. Byrne-Jones (H. Goddard, M. Dick)
MID: S. Pendlebury, J. Selwood, M. Priddis, M. Duncan, X. Ellis, D. Rich, N. van Berlo, A. Brayshaw (A. Morabito, S. Blease (F))
RUC: N. Naitanui, M. Leuenberger (M. Harvey (F), C. Moller)
FWD: B. Deledio (C), B. Goddard (C), L. Dahlhaus, M. Walters, T. Bellchambers (R), B. Reid (M. Clark, J. Hogan)
CASH LEFT: $62,400
Malceski is too expensive in my opinion and would rather Shaw for 50k cheaper. Higgins is strange. Waters is very risky.
Not sure on Priddis as he will get more attention. Duncan could be a great pick! Ellis? What do you see there. Think you'd be better off getting the basement price players as there is heaps of value.
Rucks are standard
Love the forward line.

Bye Structure is 10/9/11.

You can tear to shreds and yes no Ablett or Rockliff
Love the Dahlhaus and Reid picks, dislike the Higgins and Ellis picks. Van Berlo and waters need to be monitored over the preseason

Agree with you about betting your manhood don't like the mids only 3 guns and lot of potential for some very average scores , limited players to chose for that big captains score surprised you have only 62k left over back to the drawing board for me  :P

Ellis def only  ???

Plenty of rubbish picks in amongst those blokes. You can do better than that.

Know Meow - Will get serious when real prices come out.  Just put together to try and get a structure worked out taking into considerations byes. Malceski may go for Heath Shaw and Ellis will be replaced.

I reckon try and stack last 2 bye rounds. 7/10/13 structure or similar?
Trade out mid-pricers and rookies from the later rounds. End up with even almost premo team at bye rounds. Making it even is too difficult to keep throughout the year. Atleast you know who to trade out prior to the byes. There are also more rd11&12 premium options so you'll make a better selection.
Just food for thought.

Team that I have put together following release of prices and DPP.  Will still be adjusted and first attempt with new structure of 3 rucks and new prices,

TEAM NAME: Ringos Stars
DEF: L. Hodge, M. Hibberd, G. Ibbotson, B. Waters, B. Whitecross, M. Dick (H. Goddard, D. Viojo-Rainbow)
MID: S. Pendlebury, N. Fyfe, J. Selwood, J. Watson, D. Rich, N. van Berlo, A. Brayshaw, S. Blease (I. Heeney, T. Dumont, N, Freeman)
RUC: N. Naitanui, M. Leuenberger (M. Cox)
FWD: R. Gray, B. Harvey, B. Deledio, B. Goddard, T. Bellchambers, M. Clark (J. Hogan, P. Karnezis)
CASH LEFT: $6,200

Bye Structure 8/12/10

Some players and rookies will depend on preseason. backline are always and issue so I am a little week here but will give opportunity to see if some are staring to stand out

Gray/Goddard may become swan if I need to strengthen other lines and free up some cash.

Nice team Ringo,  dont see the value in Gray and he is likely to drop money early, swan will save you money and a trade.   I keep wondering when Harvey will run into a wall.

Most people are going to grab Bellchambers for coverage.

Good bye set up for trading.

This is a very good side.
Love the thoughts on backline as I am going with the same kind of structure. Not sure on Ibbotson though as he has only had one good season.
Good midfield can't fault any picks.
Again same with rucks pretty standard.
Gray is to expensive for my liking and I think Swan could score just as well for a lot cheaper.

Although this contradicts what I was saying before I would go:
Gray>Swan and then upgrade Ibbotson.

Would love your thoughts on my team.

Take 2
Changes
Viojo-Rainbow to Nathan Brown (Brown although not SC relevant will make $100 - 200k based on previous prices)
Ibbotson to Taylor (Taylor a little more reliable but may revert back to Ibbottson if he can reproduce 2013 form in pre-season)
Gray - Swan (Gray is a little expensive after analysis)

Team now:
TEAM NAME: Ringos Stars
DEF: L. Hodge, M. Hibberd, H. Taylor, B. Waters, B. Whitecross, N. Brown (M. Dick, H. Goddard)

Only thing bad about this side now is the byes but as you said they are Manageable .... Just  :P

Ringo

Should be OK as long as I do not upgrade to 12 Round bye players.

Keepers bye structure 2/7/3.
