Absolutely stumped atm, came up with this

TEAM NAME: Dave's Legends
DEF: L. Hodge, J. Adcock, T. McKenzie, B. Waters, S. Colquhoun, H. Goddard (D. McKenzie, K. Ramsey)
MID: T. Rockliff, G. Ablett jnr, D. Beams, J. Redden, N. van Berlo, A. Brayshaw, D. Rich, A. Neal-Bullen (B. Stretch, C. Daniel)
RUC: M. Leuenberger, M. Kreuzer (J. Griffin, M. Harvey)
FWD: D. Martin, L. Franklin, M. LeCras, J. Ziebell, M. Walters, J. Steele (M. Clark, A. Saad)
CASH LEFT: $279,100

No idea with backline, have zero faith in anyone haha
Zero bias in midfield obviously. May go Beams to Barlow.
Rucks maybe the only line I'm happy with haha
Not sure on forwards either, will depend on who gets FWD eligibility I guess

Someone help haha

I love Colquhoun I hope he plays very soon but in a Port Adelaide team that made a prelim last year he will need to prove himself after being out for part of last year. Adcock's fantasy days are over  :'( I like him as a player but that's all he his now. With options like Seedsman, Whitecross in this year I don't think he's fantasy relevant.

4 Brisbane mids who should all be good this year but one of them needs to go out the side. imo I'd take Rocky and bring in Barlow or Pendles to leave some cash to upgrade from Colquhoun.

I like Steele I just wonder how many youngsters they picked up will play round 1. Obviously you will wait to see who's named but with the other chunk of money while the official prices aren't out bring in another premium forward  ;)

everybody going the Luey+Kruezer combo

Needs more Lions.
This.

No way you're going to win with that number of Lions, you need a few more  ;)

Yeah I've heard Colq is flying this pre-season, so if he's named round 1 I'll probably start him. If not, will go with someone else. Adcock is just there cause I have no idea what other defence premos to get haha. I feel he should improve on last year, so if he can start well and make some cash, that'd be alright. We get 2 trades a week anyway. Do like Seedsman though, will probably start him in SC so may go with him in AF as well.

I think Rocky should still do well in DT even with Beams and co joining the Lions, as there is no points cap in DT. SC may be different. Would prefer to keep him over Beams tbh.

Yeah obviously all youngsters are dependent on who is named round 1. Really like the look of Steele though. If prices are accurate, then will use cash to upgrade either a forward or defender, probably a forward.

Cheers man :)

I won't be in SC, too risky for me with limited trades. In AF though can basically do whatever haha

I actually don't like the Luey pick with Stefan Martin running rampage. I see him as taking alot of posessions away from Luey.

Well he scored 85 in his first game back, against the Cats, with Martin playing as well. Fully fit, he should be fine and will be a good stepping stone to whoever turns out to be the best ruck(s) next year

Can't fault the backline too much other than McKenzie gets caught playing the third tall defender role quiet often which isn't good for his fantasy scores.

Rocky and Ablett says it all just pray and hope the magic number doesn't change

Wow I have never seen that ruck combo before  ;)

LeCras had his best year in fantasy, I don't think he can improve on that average, I would be picking a fallen premo infront of him like Titch, Zorko and others. But LeCras could become a nice Pod.

overall very strong team just hope the magic number stays the same

Yeah not a fan of McKenzie as much in AF as I am in SC, he's basically a placeholder atm.
Yeah as long as I can afford them both, Rocky and Gaz are locked.
Haha happy to take the risk in AF with this combo in rucks. Not touching Kreuzer in any other comp though.
Lecca is my POD, who can go really big if he stays on the park. Not touching Zorko this year, will get barely any midfield time, may even struggle to average 80.

Cheers :)

this, they actually looked pretty decent playing in combo, similarly to how Cox/NicNat were performing
and given their lack of anyone-but mids, the "resting" forward gets a bit of the ball too

that said, I'm not running with Smartin, FAR too expensive for my liking
Liking Leuey as the rotation R2/R3 option with Krooz (will be my RDT side though, risks aplenty in AF)

---------------

that aside, team rating
defs look okay, but i'd be looking elsewhere instead of TMac (I currently have Hurn, but have a bit of extra cash lying around)

mids are VERY reliant on the MN being pretty low, so alternatives may be needed there
-Brayshaw wasn't that convincing in the u18s (4 games, 79 average DT) but did rack up the tackles (16 in those games)
think you're going with a risk with 4 brisbane mids, but they are pretty dt relevant (although if Rich is more expensive than we think, hmmm)

fwds are reasonable
my gripes with Swan are well publicised (I think he'll start slowly, but that's my opinion),
Petracca will be EXPENSIVE, which has me personally leaning away (needs to average 80 to make 120k imo - which in the dees, hmmm)

personally my changes would be: Petracca->someone (monitor NAB) and then Mackenzie->Hurn

Mr.Craig

Blease lol. Did PB get in your ear or something? You can do better than him.

Looking reasonably solid aside from that.
