Petraaca to have M/F status as well so will probably be the link for the switch if priced reasonably. Darcy Moore rumoured to be D/F so another handy link.

Luke Parker, Ben McGlyn,David Swallow and Pearce Hanley will be mids only.

Question with the abundance of mid/fwd Dpp if SC follow how relevant is Buddy this year?

Buddy still relevant but I'll wait on him now until he had a bad game and drops in price
I may pick him because he'll be unique with all these new DPP guys.

hopefully this is true and people leave buddy alone and go for the midfielders. Im probably leaving out lids and maybe goddard.

Swan is the huge one and he is locked in.

Swan and Buddy are the only forward premo locks the rest are good but not must haves

I honestly don't think it makes it easier.. Means rookie choices become so much more important, when you upgrade and downgrade players and who you choose to start and not start with (importantly the forwardline) could make or break your season very early..

I agree, every season throws up some curve balls that make it harder than it seems from the start. This year coming will be no different.

I would expect Buddy to put up at least one clunker early in the season which should see his price drop where as the other guys are likely to not have as low a score meaning their price won't deviate as much. If they all score what you expect them to score in terms of average then ideally you would want all 4 guys in your forward line, and if that is the case you are better off targeting Buddy as the upgrade option

always panic and say it will be too easy but there are ways you can play this to your advantage. do you load up on the forward line now with premos or do you go cheaper guys like lycett Christo walters than do round 6-8 upgrades to these premos.

and if your loading the forward line, where do you drop the cash from. Do you go less premos and more rookies or instead of a premo mid do you chuck in a Daniel rich instead.

I actually don't play to pick lids, martin, gray etc...

Buddy could also have a monster game which pushes up his prices for 3 weeks, he could start really well and shoot up in value where as the more consistent guys could stay around the same price so it just depends on buddy.

I think Buddy is more undervalued and im having the midfielders as upgrade targets.

Actually, I just noticed Sydney have Essendon round 1. That is the team Buddy averages the most points against in his career and will be one of his monster games for the season. It is also the only time they play each other all year

Ah I see. Surely lids gets the nod ahead of him? Has averaged over 100 7 years in a row while only missing 4 games

i like Devon  ;D

Lids much more likely to get tagged

With or without Jacobs?  :D

quinny88

Swan, Goddard and Lids have been confirmed DPP for supercoach by champion data apparently so it's definitely happening.

quinny88

My problem is weather I pick 3 or 4 premos.
Probably going to have to only get 3 out of Swan, Lids, Goddard, Gray, Martin and Buddy which isn't an easy decision

Swan and Lids have, Goddard hasn't yet.
