Is there a chance Swan will be DPP this year? Played a lot in the fwd line last year

Ricochet

Doubt it mate. Only played 30% fwd up til round 16 last year and then only played 2.5 games after that.
Needs to be up a lot closer to 50% for him to gain fwd status

Mr.Witt

Surely there is some chance  :o
What about Dangerfield, Jack and Bennell?

Mat0369

DPP will be the only reason to consider him next year

Danger wont
Jack maybe
Bennell should

If Jack ends up with DPP he is first picked. I also will have a reason to pick one of my other man crushes in Harley if he gets DPP

I would say lifting his average from 85 to 105+ was enough to consider.

I would say lifting his average from 85 to 105+ was enough to consider.

Would still have to trade him out with a 105 average. The dude will be 31 and is starting to get injured regularly. Not in full training yet either.

20 points price rise isn't that great. Rookies are priced at about 23 ppg and they'll make a ton of cash in comparison. Better off with a rookie and spending the extra $ on Goldy instead of an unpredictable ruck.

All the rucks are unpredictable. I say this every time rucks are brought up but other then Cox and Sandilands pre turf toe they top priced rucks flop every year But you are right on Swan

I'm getting goldy.

A 85 to 105 jump is more than enough. 105 you can almost keep at M8 now or even M9. 105 will beat rookie m8 by 30 points per weekand make a quick 100k than you can jump up to the best premo available.

My plan is swan rich should outscore fyfe rookie and I can get swan and rich to premos fast.

Goldy is super safe.

Two 113+ seasons and he only had one down year where Hmac was in the squad. He was playing with one arm at the start of the season and still finished 107.

Safest ruck in the comp.

I still think Swan has to be a chance!
They gave Danger Dpp this year for playing a lot less forward than Swan did.

Swan will be DPP in AF. Will be announced very soon.

It will depend on the stats and positions from CD if VS make him DPP in SC and DT.
