Gave you 3 votes, just bored at work waiting for my shipment to come.

Plus I need as much footy distractions as possible to get me through the offseason.

McKenna, Laverde and Langford

i would be surprised if Long got games in his first year

Bill Manspeaker

Gwilty, Langford and Laverde

Gwilty for obvious reasons, Langford and Laverde because it's always good to see talented young guys show us what they got!

ADEZ

Keen to see Langford, pretty exciting prospect I reckon and I'm quite a fan Cooney

And looking forward to seeing Long play, played alongside him in juniors in a representative comp, smooth mover

AFEV

Most excited to see Long. The club effectively committed to him a couple of years ago by the looks and he has been nursed through his junior years to preserve his body.
Will probably only play VFL but I will try to get down to Melb 4 or 5 times to see him play for us there.

Aside from that, Cooney has always been a favourite of mine with his breakaway pace, has torn us up a couple of times.

Nothing would make me happier than Giles monstering it up in the ruck this year and dominating paddy. Paddy plays better as a Number 1 ruckman when the pressure to perform is there, I think he tends to coast when he's playing second fiddle.

Just my opinion, but I wanted to put it out there

I absolutely love giles and think he was a great get for you guys- he's a solid ruck, and honestly there were probably only about 4 rucks last year that could have kept him consistently out of the squad, and unfortunately for him, Mumford was one of them. He's also a pretty good forward- all round good, basically free, get for you guys.

Agreed, without much bargaining power I thought we'd have to settle for a mature age or somebody who struggles for senior opportunity like a grimly or Sinclair at best.

If you told me who I'd prefer in my side out of Giles and paddy at the start of the year (before paddy had a solid year) I probably would have said Giles for consistency and presence.

Hell if you told me what we lost compared to what we gained in the trade period, I would have just thought that it was a regular trade. Defiantly not one where we were on the back foot, making the best of the situation.

James Polkinghorne. Playing for the VFL side next year. Not sure if he's even VFL standard  :-X.

Wish we could have recruited old mate Sinkers, but Giles is just as good :3

As much as I like Giles, I voted Cooney because he's a player I really like (even bumped into him at a Vietnamese restaurant a few years back) and would like to see whether or not he can recapture glimpses of his 2008 form, and Laverde and Langford because they're gun young recruits who should be future elites and premiership players for us :P they both deserved to be taken way before we got to pick.
