Mr.Witt

Both should be dpp
so I was just wondering what your guys thoughts are?
I think Dixon is the better scorer but is he worth the extra 75k?
would just like to hear everyone elses thoughts.

shaker

Don't know if he is a better scorer only AVG 67 this year on 14 games plus he always seems to be injured , with Ryder gone Bellchambers for me as long as he is ruck/forward

Mr.Witt

Don't they have Giles from GWS now or is he injured or something?
wouldn't he replace Ryder.
And they both had a bad year and I just see Dixon as a better player I don't know why

Mat0369

Dixon is better but he gets injured every 3 weeks

shaker

Just think Belly will get a better run with Ryder gone so as long as he looks like nailing a permanent spot will consider him but not Dixon the extra 75k would be better spent elsewhere for me

when he plays fully fit he scores big like 90+ average.

unfortunately that's like 6 games a year.

he is one of those guys who gets his body right he turns into a premo e.g. Gray. However Gray is more the exception than the rule.

could be a great pick but probably will disappoint.

my answer is neither. go cheaper or more expensive.

Yep you are probably right neither is the most likely outcome just would be handy to have some ruck cover if no cheapies get a game

Mr.Witt

I really want one of them for my fourth/fifth forward pick! They are both good for a 80+ average if they are fit and just want to know who the better choice is!

I would pick up Dixon maybe if he was DPP but im almost positive he will be F only, he played up front exclusively this year as I watch him very closely.

Lycett would be my pick as I think he can score well and is less injury prone. If nic nat misses games he could go really big.

Hahahahaha fair point!
Arghh really Holz? Looks like Belly it is! Maybe Lycett could be a good pick up too!

Wish these damn prices and positions would hurry up

The 3 questions to ask are the following:

1) Can we trust them with their injury history?

2) Can we trust that they will get back to their prior SC scoring capabilities? What will their role be?

3) If you are happy that they satisfy the 2 points above, do you want either of them to be in your best 22 come finals?

My answer to the final point is no, therefore neither for me. Spend more for guns and less for rookies than get sucked into awkward priced players with dodgy history of injury and scoring potential

Dixon wont even be a ruck next year. Calling it now.
