Bones Bombers

Just want to record this team here to look back to. Players may change with DPP changes, prices and such, but I think I will stay close to this structure as much as possible. No bye consideration as yet.

Bones Bombers. Salary cap left: $33,500.

Pearce Hanley, David Swallow, Michael Hibberd, Ricky Henderson, Darcy Moore, Hugh Goddard
Tom Lamb, Jake Kolodjashnij

Gary Ablett jnr, Scott Pendlebury, Nathan Fyfe, Joel Selwood, Daniel Rich, Christian Petracca, Angus Brayshaw, Nathan Freeman
Sam Blease, Patrick Karnezis

Matthew Leuenberger, Matthew Kreuzer
Mitch Harvey, Archie Smith

Patrick Dangerfield, Lance Franklin, Dustin Martin, Jack Ziebell, Tom Bellchambers, Tim Membrey
Mitchell Clark, Jesse Hogan

Any thoughts appreciated.

Bones Bombers

Had this team in an old topic that got a little of track but want to keep it to see if changes actually improve on the original.
Will post the updates here.

Danger keeping DPP is iffy as you know. Surprised you dont have Heppell or Watson?

Otherwise looks pretty damn solid to me.

Great job for this time of year.

Bones Bombers

Salary cap left: $37,900.

Kade Simpson, Heath Shaw, Luke Hodge, Michael Hibberd, Darcy Moore, Hugh Goddard
Tom Lamb, Jake Lever

Gary Ablett jnr, Scott Pendlebury, Nathan Fyfe, Joel Selwood, Daniel Rich, Christian Petracca, Angus Brayshaw, Nakia Cockatoo
Isaac Heeney, Nathan Freeman

Matthew Leuenberger, Matthew Kreuzer
Jonathon Griffin, Mitch Harvey

Patrick Dangerfield, Lance Franklin, Dustin Martin, Jack Ziebell, Tom Bellchambers, Sam Blease
Mitchell Clark, Jesse Hogan

Rookie priced picks will be dependant on preseason games and Rd1 teams.
Have no idea if Griffin will be playing but he is a bit dearer than rookie rucks so it shows what I can afford.
Can't bring myself to drop Danger until he loses DPP. Will do it when I have to.
Hanging for SC to open!

Thanks. I have a few reasons for not picking Jobe or Hepp, the main one being I find it distracting worrying about their SC scores when watching the game. Don't like having many Bombers in fantasy. I do like consistent players so Hibbo still gets the nod in defence.

Mr.Witt

That is an extremely good side.
cant really fault it.
I am the same as a carlton supporter I used to have like
Gibbs, Murphy, Simpson and others all in my midfield and it wasn't realistic that they all had a good game so I am keeping my Carlton players to a minimum this year. anyways great side. cant fault it.

Ricochet

Nice side BB, very solid. Only concerns are Griff getting games and Danger keeping fwd status. But you can sort that out closer to RD1
The structure looks very good

Maybe also consider guys like Biggs or Colq in defence

I would love to hear your thoughts on Colq as I don't know much about him and don't see the point in picking him.

ACL ruined his year last year but has come back flying. Finishing in the top 2 of the first-to-fourth years time trial and top 3 in the main one. Finds heaps of the footy and will score well if he gets a chance

Fair enough might have to consider then!
If only he was a bit cheaper  >:(

Philnc

I reckon Clark & Hogan both have good scoring potential and shouldn't be starting on the bench.  I'd get at least one of them on the field and throw either Markworth or Lonie on the bench....Then with the money saved id add another premo in a different position, probably midfield if u can

Bones Bombers

 Salary cap left: $7,600.

Kade Simpson, Brodie Smith, Heath Shaw, Michael Hibberd, Darcy Moore, Jake Lever
Hugh Goddard, Tom Lamb

Gary Ablett jnr, Scott Pendlebury, Nathan Fyfe, Joel Selwood, Trent Cotchin, Christian Petracca, Angus Brayshaw, Nakia Cockatoo
Isaac Heeney, Nathan Freeman

Matthew Leuenberger, Matthew Kreuzer
Mitch Harvey, Max King

Brett Deledio, Brendon Goddard, Dane Swan, Dustin Martin, Sam Blease, Jack Steele
Mitchell Clark, Jesse Hogan

Playing around with structure. This one is dependent on the cheap rucks being up for the first 6 to 10 games of the season.
Rookies are just filling a price point.
Would like a few more dollars in the bank to bring Nicky Dal.

Money Shot

Great team.
Very weak in the rucks and would love to see some cover.
You also don't have much money left but you could easily downgrade a few rookie picks.
Very good team non the less.
Could you please rate mine

#13
Yeah I have had Belly in previous teams but wanted to look at it without and get the extra mid. Don't really like the mid priced players in other positions and I'm not sure yet if there will be enough rookies.
I like to have some dearer rookies in case I need them.
A long way to go till Rd1!

Sabretooth Tigers

:) Hi BB, nice team but you've done what I did but with different players.   5 of your midfield are Rd. 12 on the byes but at least you have yours as a mix of prems and rookies, I had 5 prems. Personally don't go with the Leuey / Kreuzer ruck but that may be to your advantage as I can't remember the last time I was right.
I'm really hoping that there might be rookie bargains in defence this coming season Coz I want to fill that last, but time will tell. Cheers and all the best mate.    ;)
