Couple of flaws with that plan then hey T Dog, C.P.'s not going anywhere. The Isotopes players and coaching staff have been thrilled with his commitment to training and his uncanny ability to read the play ahead of the game. He could be the supercharged W16 this Bugatti needs to purr past the rest of the comp in a few years time.  ;D ;D ;D

That's a tempting offer dunno if it would pass though, kinda seems a little in my favour but definitely worth a think. Buddy may be a little past his prime when the rest of my team really hit peak form. Will he still be averaging 90+ in 3-4 years time?

There's still the problem that Ellis is a young gun already and Mackie is old and de Goey and EVW are very young and don't play first team yet. De Goey may be a future star but he may fall flat on his face too, Ellis is up there with the best in the comp at the age of 21. (Wasn't he your first pick, pick #2 in the recycled draft Atto? I wouldn't be giving up Prestia #1 pick for anywhere close to what you're getting here!!)
This one falls short too I'm afraid.

It was a unanimous decision from the panel, which doesn't happen too often. Everyone thinks Ellis is worth more and Atto doesn't have much cover in the mids for him. It doesn't balance out. The issue isn't with your side of the deal so much but the fact Atto can ill afford to give up Ellis, who is already a midfield gun at 21.
It's very hard to justify a current high draft pick for a gun except maybe in the case of Petracca and Brayshaw this year. This is one of the reasons we were so concerned with you trading so many players for picks. You may well have another Ellis in the making there with De Goey but we'll have to wait a season or two to see because I remember a guy called Richard Tambling...

We are back for attempt not number 3. Due to the lack of depth and the time it will take for De Goey to develop we have added in Kane Cornes. Cornes has at least 2 years left at Port Adelaide and while he is still winning the teams time trials there's an argument he will play even longer
