Gonna be a brutal season. :'(

I experienced similar with Taiwan in Asians last year but still managed a few upset wins and to avoid the spoon so keep your chin up mate :)

Will take at least two seasons before you'll be looking on up but you've done the right thing with this team I feel.

My Chumps

Definitely feel like Pacific and Beijing have greatly improved over the off-season. At least one of them should push outside of the bottom four, hard to find a replacement though!

Feel like Buenos and (sorry to say) NDT are guaranteed to be in the bottom contingent. Seoul a serious contender.

My prediction:

15. Seoul
16. Beijing
17. NDT
18. Buenos

Pacific Islanders starting forward line   D.Smith, T.Mitchell, J.Martin, M.Bontempelli    'Yum Yum get me some'  ;D

Unreal.

Think Pacific will definitely jump out of the bottom 4 now. Backline still a little light to push for top 8 tho.

Yeah true, but still   Hurley, Howe, Spurr, Hampton, Fasolo, Mohr, Laird considering most Defences will be a little light on,  it's still reasonable.

My Chumps

With drafting and the first trading period over, it'd be cool if everyone posts their best XV and maybe a little depth. So much has changed over the off-season and it'd help with predictions.

Savage, Higgins, Haynes, O'Shea

JPK, Cotchin, Tyson, S Selwood

Stef Martin

Hawkins, Cooney, Bird, Cameron

Everitt, Curnow

E: Jasper Pittard (D), Horlin-Smith (M), Billy Longer (R), Lachie Hunter (M/F)

Aims: We're hopeful of again making top 8 for the fourth time in the franchises history. Understand that it's got tighter over the off-season but frankly we'd be a little disappointed with anything less.

Strengths: Depth, particularly in the forward line with the unexpected addition of Cooney, Toumpas and Bird keeping it. Our depth outside of the best four include;
S Crameri, L Hunter, A Everitt, M Honeychurch, P Wright, S Reid, B Jack, D Kent, Cam McCarthy, B Smedts

Weaknesses: Starting backline still a bit of an issue. Savage joining in the trade period helps, and Higgins gaining DEF statues helps, but it's still a little light, and we're going to have to bank on serious improvement from Haynes/O'Shea/Pittard/Rohan to fill out those last two spots.

DazBurg

D: Hodge. Malceski, Enright, Harbrow
M: Priddis, N.Jones, D.Shiel, Rich
R: Lobbe
F: Swan. Wingard, Westoff, Rioli
U: Myers, Ray
E: Marley Williams (D). Mitch Hallahan (M) Jonathan Griffin (R) Tom. T Lynch (F)

we really want to secure a top 4 spot this season after narrowly missing out last season

Jukes

D: Seedsman, Docherty, Vlastuin, Dunn ; Luke McDonald, Frawley, Darcy Moore, May
M: Ward, Heppell, O'Meara, Greenwood ; Pickett, Sheed, Simpkin, Ellard (not including DPPs starting in other positions)
R: Nic Nat ; nobody
F: Gray, Vickery, Monfries, Thomas ; Hogan, Daniher (idk if I'm prepared to make them Best XV yet), Moore, Pickett, Ballantyne, Jenkins
U: Armitage, Bastinac

Imagine the future possibilities :3 Seedsman, Docherty, McDonald, Vlastuin, Ward, Heppell, JOM, Greenwood, NN, Gray, Daniher, Hogan, Moore, Pickett and Basti as a XV all under 25 :P

Jroo

Great idea MC.

D: Simpson, Hurn, M.Johnson, Broadbent
M: Rocky, Steele, Lewis, Ebert
R: Maric
F: Lids, BJ, Christo, Bartel
U: Boomer, Stokes

E: Nroo, SDT, Petrie

Looking to bring more mids in and wouldn't mind some ruck depth. Most depth on the table.

upthemaidens

D: Hurley, Howe, Spurr, Hampton
M: Barlow, Redden, Gibson, Guthrie
R: Leuenberger
F: Smith, TMitchell, JMartin, Bontempelli
U: Howlett, De Boer
E: Goodes, Witts, M.Thomas, Rischetelli, Blair, Fasolo, R.Stanley, Tomlinson

Pacific feel that with a bit of luck a top 8 is not out of the question in 2015 and beyond.   ;)

Purple 77

D: Michael Hibberd, Jack Grimes, Xavier Ellis, Jarryn Geary (Colin Garland, Mitch Golby, Dustin Fletcher, Zak Jones, Matt McDonough)
M: Nat Fyfe, Jack Steven, Brad Crouch, Adam Treloar (Jack Viney, Will Langford)
R: Mark Jamar (Max Gawn, Jake Spencer)
F: Charlie Dixon, Dale Thomas, Ricky Petterd, Jack Watts (Lewis Jetta, Jordan Murdoch, James Podsiadly, Josh Saunders)
I: Daniel Wells, Daniel Cross

Had a lot of injuries in 2014, and still somehow managed to field a XV every week, but only just. I thought I had decent depth in the year just gone, but I reckon I've increased it this year, which was my aim.

Top 8 is the aim, but I reckon it'll be a lot tighter this year (which is awesome, tbh). My major concern is Dixon/Thomas led forward line i.e. can go either really, really well or catastrophic.

JBs-Hawks

Ellis/Geary starting in defence a bit of a worry too :P

Mids are great though :)

AaronKirk

NY Best XV

B: Heath Shaw, Josh Gibson, Paul Duffield, Jed Adcock
C: Steve Johnson, Tom Liberatore, Mitch Duncan, Jack Macrae
R: Mike Pyke
F: Travis Cloke, Harley Bennell, Kurt Tippett, Josh J Kennedy
U: Leigh Montagna, Sam Fisher

Not too shabby.

Have half decent cover on each line. Lets see if we can get into the Top 8.

Nige

Might name the starting team and then the three next best in each.

Cairo

D: B.Smith, E.Mackenzie, J.McGovern, N.Smith (R.Thompson, S.Rowe, B.Stratton)
M: D.Beams, D.Prestia, P.Hanley, M.Hutchings (S.Dwyer, A.Woodward, C.Blakely)
R: S.Mumford (R.Lobb, T.Downie)
F: L.Breust, P.Puopolo, N.Gordon, B.Brown (R.Palmer, N.Kommer, C.Knights)
I: L.Dunstan, T.Colyer

Quite bullish about our chances, I think we're a top 8 team.

If I keep using the sub rule, and if Ellis plays a full game I'll get an 80 average out of him  :P and people seem to think Geary is due, but yeah, they're not attractive names  :-[
