What the hell MS, didn't seem to want to win a game where there was no tomorrow..

was pretty disappointing. maybe had a bet on?  :-X
I actually am not sure how much he really cared. Didn't really have anything to prove, perhaps thinking he'll retire after this and won't have to cope with the fallout?

yeah, but besides the six off Watson(?) he hardly swung after the 40th over

It was odd. He's known for being capable to win the game off his own bat but when the sense of urgency presented itself, he just didn't do much.

RaisyDaisy

Even when he got run out

Didn't even stretch or put the bat out, just gave up

Their approach, and MS in particular was nothing short of pathetic, especially considering the stage they were on

Honestly don't even care if we win on Sunday or not, should be a cracking game either way.

Same here GL, NZ are a great team and obviously id love our boys to get up but if NZ win their first WC i won't be heartbroken.

RaisyDaisy

I'm just hoping we can get a match as exciting as the SA vs NZ one

Would hate for it to be a flop and predictably over with 10+ overs remaining like last night

as long as we win I don't really care what sorta game it is  ;D

but I won't mind too much if NZ win

Capper

I'd love to see NZ win a WC haha, so wouldn't be the worst thing if we lost. Just glad we beat India!

but worse case scenario, NZ getting up wouldn't bother me too much. if it was England or India, different story
