I assume this is the case, there's really no other reason.

Batting powerplay has been taken, so Finch has to starting, or it's a waste with the guys in the shed.

I hope he gets a bowl. I enjoy watching him bowl I think he's really good :) used to model my own bowling off him, now I copy Alastair Cooks bowling (i don't bowl very well)
