Jukes

All 6 SL bowlers picked up a single wicket

And in 5 of their last 10 ODIs the Pakis have lost their first wicket when on a score of 0 or 1.

Weird

Everyone just assumes that because they are a test playing nation and Zimbabwe aren't, that the result will be like that.

I read an article from Ian Chappell pre-tournament, and it sounded like he  had looked at the odds and just predicted the whole tournament with the so called favourites winning each match. Pissed me off so much.

They need Misbah and Sohail to bat for a bit here, another wicket now and big trouble

Also, Pakistan's last 27 ODI wickets have been caught, no other team has a streak higher than 18.

Sri Lanka flying 193-1 off 34.3 overs

309 doesn't look like enough

Nige

I was talking to somebody this morning and they were saying England were doing fine and that their total would be competitive but I was convinced they hadn't made enough. That's looking very much to be the case atm.

PowerBug

Not looking like enough at all. Zimbabwe on track to chase under 150 because Pakistan think it's a test match lol

I had a bet on Sri Lanka before the game and then added more after England had batted

Nige

Sangakkara is truly one of the best players in the game.

Nige

Lanka have crushed, killed and destroyed England today.  :o

Drop catches didn't help

Pressure on England to beat Bangladesh next Monday. Which is great because I'll be at that game :D

Afridi on to bowl now. Match poised slightly to Pakistans favour right now, as one wicket will hurt Zimbabwe big time. These two are the star poster boys in the lineup.

So Brendan Taylor just edged down the leg side and got caught. And he walked. Graeme Swann comes on to commentate straight after, first comments: "The only time Australians walk is when they miss the bus." And is now talking in an Aussie accent pretending to be a butthurt Aussie complaining about Stuart Broad's incident :P

Swannie was funny haha.

Other commentator (Also English): "Taylor walked when he nicked it. That's a good message..."
Graeme Swann: "...to all young Australians"

Umar Akmal another drop catch.... They need to play their proper keeper in Safraz Ahmed. Drop Jamshed, Masqood and bring back Ahmed and Younis.
