Smiddy out to a beauty from Woakes.

I think PB was the one who called Smiddy failing this World Cup.

I still hope it's not the case, but it's not a good start.

It begs the question, did England make the right decision in electing to bowl first?
I honestly think they did even before these wickets, the ball is swinging so much it's Seamers paradise.
The main reason I asked was because Bailey wanted to bat anyway.

Smith has been in ripping form just a shame if he has a form slump now , with Clarke coming back with no match form and the Spud Watson our batting could be our downfall hope not but have to say I am a bit concerned  :-\

Kellogscrunchynut

Solid 50 from Finch hope he can keep going.

Awaiting the Big Show now! Many overs left so it's still crucial but Im backing in the Big Show!

Good knock from finchy so far, smiddy looked alarmingly out of sorts, hopefully it was just nerves.

Hard to be too critical of watto, he got a very good one first up, you can hardly say he played a bad shot, could have happened to anyone.

Hazlewood is definitely the correct decision over Cummins, tbag not sure how you can say that's an awful decision when by your own admission you haven't seen hazlewoods performances  ::). Hazlewood has been streets ahead of Cummins on form.

Bailey has a good opportunity here, really hope he makes the most of it.
