Memph the only logical answer to your question is

Purple 77

The pre-season draft gives you first crack at putting those drafted in the AFL rookie draft, straight on your senior list.

Rookie Pick 1 in the AFL may be of more worth than who you could draft with WXV pick 90-odd. It's just there for the option I guess.

Im getting confused here between draft, international draft etc  :-[

International Draft = All AFL National Draft players + WXV Delisted Players

Preseason Draft = All remaining players from International Draft + AFL Rookies, only get a pick here if you pass a pick in the International Draft, this draft completes your senior list

Rookie Draft = All remaining players, they go on your rookie list.

So the point of the Preseason Draft  is to be able to put AFL Rookie listed players on your senior list then?

Otherwise what's the point?

Why you would you pass in the Nat Draft if all the other players are available in the Preseason draft aside. Aren't you just putting yourself back in the order then?

And, why isn't the Rookie draft the one where you have first crack at the rookies?

Yes, the point of the preseason draft is to add players to your senior list, not available in the International draft (exactly like the AFL, except ours is far more relevant than the AFL one now lol)

You don't put yourself back in the order, you are actually pushing in front. Rookie players aren't available in the International draft

The Rookie draft really should be the only for the players left over, if you think a player is worth it to be on your senior list, why should you wait until the rookie to pick them up?

because like the AFL you might want a player but not to waste a senior spot on them, that's why north dropped Delaney hoping to pick him up in the rookie than got sniped by Geelong.

^ yes, but that exact same thing can happen now. The difference here is that we have no individual choice (Cam Delaney doesn't personally say he is nominating for the WXV International Draft or the WXV Rookie Draft). At least this way you have tactics and risk.

^ current bid for Ahmed Saad (which Pacific can beat with either a 6th round selection or 1st round rookie)

Only a couple of hours left.

And that's it.

Jayman must decide whether he wants to match it (with a 6th round pick or a 1st round rookie pick)

AND WE ARE RIGHT TO GO!

We have a very nice round number of 100 picks!

BE CAREFUL WITH PICKING PLAYERS WITH POINTS. Some teams are very close to the cap, any pick that sends you over the cap will make that pick void.

If you want to pass on a pick, feel free to let us know in advance, to keep the draft moving.

Each team has 24 hours to pick, but if you are online during the time of your pick, you only have 2 hours to make that selection (co-coaches need to be wary of this).

PMing the next coach is also a handy thing to do.

Pick 1 - Beijing: CHRISTIAN PETRACCA

There are two blokes we like with this pick but we feel like Petracca, who should be a forward, both fills a need for us and should be ready to go from day dot. Will PM Vinny now!

I'd like two blokes with that pick too  :P
