How about Whitecross instead of Goodes mate? Has more of a chance of locking away a role

Not really keen on Whitecross although Goodes is far from ideal, and I'll most likely replace him.

does Whitecross have good JS? with their new backline addition?

Some rough comments
While it may work out in the end, most teams I see coming out ATM have 5 premium mids then NVB, so rich might be the odd one out. His price certainly makes him look attractive
As a Swans follower I wouldnt pick Heeney. He is likely to be eased into the Swans via the 2's and vests and Mitchell is likely to end up playing more time over him as well.

If only he went to a club where he would get games haha, tossing and turning over this decision given how prolific he's been at junior level. If he manages to get a starting spot in round 1 albeit in unlikely circumstances, unless he looks like he'll be the sub I'll pick him.

Generally speaking a 5 premo midfield is ideal, this year however with the inflated rookie pricing and defensive issues it may not be a viable structure.

do people think Barlow will average +110 again? He is obviously a gun - and I'm considering him for M3 - I just want to hear why people think he's a worthy starter rather than upgrade target.  :)

I rate Barlow very highly and I certainly think he is capable of averaging 110+ this year, I'll look at players like Selwood and Rocky as upgrade targets, I think I might switch Heppell or Steele for JPK though.

And cheers Nige I try my hardest.

I like the team. Lots of unique players to set you apart. Will be interesting if smedts and acres get a gig for round 1. They are due.

Love the ablett barlow sidebottom midfield

Lovin that midfield mate. Very Slick.

How confident are you with the bellchambers/leuenberger combo in the rucks. As you know i have that but with a ryder back up in the forwards. Not sure if im confident in just having them on their own and replacing ryder and investing some $$$ in the mids.

Looks like a solid team though

Cheers for the rate mate. Not sold on the Bellchambers/Leuenberger combo got a bit of money to play with at the moment though.
