Name him official 12th man.

I'd be careful about doing something that distracts the players even more than they already will be

Yeah, I think this is a good option.

I heard something about a 1st ball bouncer, no one fielding close in...to get it out of the way.

Probably just having everyone play is the best way and what he would want

The thought of it hitting the batsman doesn't sound good

Peter George in his grade match on Saturday This was the action he took.

He said to the Batsmen I am going to bowl a bouncer first ball to get this out of system. note he even told the batsmen.
ran in not his usual energetic run up and bowled a Bouncer which pitched closer to his feet than the batsman and looped well over the batsman's head,  Did not bowl a short pitched ball again.  Probably gives you the physche of fast bowlers at the moment.

On another note I am totally disgusted with reports of low lifes stealing bats throughout Australia that have been put out to show support.

One thing is for sure... First game is going to be very interesting to see what happens...

What does his rep against the poms have to do with anything? They are playing India...

PowerBug

Well, face it, Johnson only took wickets because he bowled short. :P India won't be much better at facing the short ball.

I say keep bowling it, they have to. Think about how many bouncers have been bowled in the history of cricket, and how many bouncers have hit batsmen. As Clarke said "we must play on"

Johnson terrified (legally) the Poms last summer, I hope he does the same against the Indians.

This is how Johnson operates. He is not the same bowler if you take the intimidation factor away.

the Indian XI bowled bouncers in their game today...so I guess they will be bowled.
brave move by India to openly bowl them
