Part of 2014 Winning AF League(Champions)
2014 Top Scorer SC 2768(Highest in Elxam History)
Head Coach of Belarus Bison in Euros

LaHug has been floating around Fanfooty for 4yrs now.
He lives in Melbourne but will be making a move to Sydney soon to work there for 6 months.
He attended Monash University in Melbourne where he studied Chemical Engineering and also completed a diploma of Linguistics. He was also a teaching associate there and actually taught one of our other fanfooty members pyronerd
LaHug loves playing sports especially basketball but he tends to get injured a lot.He also used to be a high level sprinter until again injuries got in the way.He is a very passionate Richmond supporter and LA Lakers supporter(poor guy everyone knows the Celtics are better)
Other hobbies of his include Nintendo anything that is associated with Donkey Kong, Mario or Pokemon(PlayStation is way better Huggy geez ::) )
LaHug is a big music fan. As some of you would know has been writing a blog about different bands and singers which quite often earns him free tickets to gigs
Lahug was one of the most active forum members for a long time but life got in the way a little this year however he still managed to get online as often as he could.
He is the author of our weekly LaHugs Captains and this is seen as a better article than Calvins Captains by other Fanfooty coaches. With his busy life he had to recruit some help to keep LaHugs Captains going and so pommyadam came in to lend a hand.He has told me he hope to pick this back up again next season or even just share the job with pommyadam.
He also ran Fanfooty Dream teamer,Supercoacher and AFL Fantasy Player of the round until this year.
LaHug is the coach of the Belarus Bison in the Euros comp and along with his assistant Honey Badger took the team to the Grand final in 2013 but unfortunately lost to Swedish Metal
When LaHug is not spending time on Fanfooty, his fantasty teams or at uni he is busy raising money for the Victorian Cancer council.
He father and grandfather both passed away within a month of each other from cancer.
In 2006 he did the Worlds Greatest Shave and raise $1300
In 2013 he did 100 things in 100 days and raised $5776
This year he gave up all sorts of things to raise more money and so far has raised $3672 but still has a bit more to go to reach his target of $5000.

LaHug is a very worthy nominee for the Fanfooty Hall of Fame.

2013:  Member of winning State-of-Origin(Victoria)
2014: Elxam Champions League
2014: Member of Elxam League Premiers(Champions)

Windigo has been a member of Fanfooty for 4yrs.
He is from a small country town about an hour out of Melbourne and grew up on his familys farm.
Aside from fantasy football Windigo enjoys performing card tricks,he is also a big NBA fan following the LA Lakers.
He is currently working fulltime which has cut the hours he spends on Fanfooty considerably.
When he had more time on his hands Windigo spent a fair bit of time doing Player Profiles for DT.He has always been
one of the most helpful and respective members on Fanfooty and has very good knowledge of players and teams.

At school Windi was well known for his ability to tell a good story since he was more articulate than most due to his passion for reading and skill in English studies. His favourite author is Stephan King whom he would usually be seen reading during silent reading time at school, he has read most if not all of Stephen King's work. He uses themes from King books as usernames for his online profiles, that is where the inspiration for "Windigo" came from.  Recurring themes of his stories would involve his life on the farm and his long list of family members, at one point I knew the names to most of his extended family off by heart due to his tales.
Sport wise Windi was generally among the best often being picked for the school team in various sports. I'd say that his best sport was cricket where he was proficient as a bowler using his tall frame to advantage and he also made a handy batsman. He was also very close to playing for a local football team until he was hit in the balls by a grubber kick and never returned to training.

Another great passion of his which ultimately drew him to this forum was his dream team when I started doing dream team back in 09 it was clear that Windi was more experienced than I and his advice was held in the highest regard. Similar to his online profile on Fanfooty he would always have information necessary to make informed decisions on fantasy relevant players. Long into the off season he would be singing the praises of players he believed were due for a good year. Often the case would be if someone else from school knew of a smoky Windi would have already known of them and done enough research to make an informed decision on their DT prospects. Such was his passion for Dreamteam that in year 12 he had "DT Wizard" on the back of his jumper with all the names of year 12 for 2012.
Windi's family didn't have a great deal of money, although it wasn't a rich area anyway apart from tourists. He would often be known for being humorously cheap by stealing pens at school, one look in his locker and it would not be uncommon to see upwards of 20 pens inside. He also wore the same polo top from year 7 through to year 12 although he did have other ones, by the end it was extremely frayed and just about see through. Windi was always a great deal more polite than most people around our age, and would rarely use swear words in his vocabulary. To this day I cannot recall him using the "Flower" word in public although I did hear about him saying it once when particularly angry.

In life after school my run-ins with Windi have become far less frequent and have generally been reserved for group get-togethers. He has undertaken a few trades after school, I believe he did some fencing last year, and he is currently working at Rijk Zwaan seed farm full time which has made him difficult to get a hold of.

Ossie has been part of the furniture here since i arrived and has always been heavily involved in Fan Footy in some form or another. Sometimes Ossie's workload as a mod and elxam Administrator was mind boggling to me and many others.
Ossie lives and works in Hobart with his wife and young son. He is a keen Collingwood supporter (We still respect him) and has a brother Purple 77 that frequents the boards here also. Ossie was amongst the 1st six or seven to reach Coaching status here at Fan Footy and would comfortably be a Legend Coach if not for leaving us for a very brief period.
Ossie is the creator of World XV's and the creator and Administrator of the elxam Competition many of us love being part of each year. He was motivated to create the elxam Comp by a member who sadly passed away but left ossie inspired enough to create elxam as we know it today because of the affect elxam had had on ossie and others (says a lot about ossie).
The elxam Comp has become an important part my seasons every season now, it is ran with such dedication and the workload is heavy during the season but ossie soldiers on year in year out ensuring we all get some form of enjoyment from it without a single complaint he toils away quietly pulling it together creating a success every year.
Ossie was a moderator here for several years but due to family and work commitments had to relinquish his duties as time became more precious and harder to find.

Ossie is without question a very worthy nominee for the inaugural Hall of Fame Board, He is very much admired and appreciated for who he is and for what he has done and continues to do for all of us here.

M0nty has always had a great deal of faith in HP and he has held various positions here at FF over his journey culminating in him being made Forum Administrator this year which shows the Trust and Faith m0nty has in HP. HP is 21 and studying at Monash University in Melbourne since 2012, he is doing a double degree in Economics and Art's and triple majoring in Economics,  Econometrics and Psychology, as you can see HP is not short of brain matter.
HP developed an interest in Australian Rules in 2004 and since then has established himself as good Coach in all forms of the game SC DT AF and one of only 14 Coaches to compete in every elxam season. He has done some great work with advice, player profiles in the past and has always been busy doing something around the forum. He is a wonderful young man who many have grown fond of over our time here including myself, he has battled adversities many wouldn't be aware of and has come out on top everytime. He is wise beyond his years and we all are very fortunate to have him here at Fan Footy. Those of us that are able to call him a friend are equally fortunate. Wether he's dressed as Snow White or some other odd character he is and always will be HP, a down to earth fun loving honest and respected individual who would do almost anything for anyone.

Congratulations HP on your nomination for the Hall of Fame Board in 2014 i have no doubt your name will be on the Board a couple of times, you are a very worthy nominee.

Like many others I`ve been a member of Fanfooty for 4yrs
I`m born and bred in Perth never lived anywhere else and never want to either
I have always been involved in sports in some way,I did Little Athletics, played ten pin bowling, netball, darts and my favourite basketball. My dad taught myself and my brother how to kick a footy properly when we were younger and was probably the only girl at the time that could kick it properly most kicked it sideways haha.
I like reading and watching stuff about real life crimes, serial killers etc and also enjoy watching the fiction side of those like Criminal Minds.
I have had 4 kids 2 boys and 2 girls,my kids all play sports the boys both play footy and I love to watch them play my daughter does Taekwondo and atm is a blue belt 1 but will miss the oldest playing next year as he has done his ACL and is out for the season.

I discovered Fanfooty using google trying to find somewhere for good advice and I did, there are so many good people that use these forums and chat as well.
Fanfooty to me is more than just forums it`s a great community and have made so many friends on here one day I hope to meet some of them in person.
I like to help around the place doing fantasy profiles, helping people with their teams quite often on chat as well as on the forums.
It took me awhile to get involved with the XV comps but they are pretty good fun and really helps with the trading bug.
I play all forms of fantasy footy AF,DT,SC,SB and Sportal plus AF Matchday games.
I have done quite well winning $2500 in DT in 2013,$250 AF Matchday this year,3rd in weekly for SB and have won some other free bets and small amounts of cash playing fantasy footy.

Thanks to Pk for the nomination its a honor to be in such great company as all the other coaches that have been nominated and that are eligible.

Background Info:
Born and Live and in Perth. Always like to be different and have an argument so even though being born into a westcoast family I left to become a roo at 6 after watching carey play and enjoyed cheering against the WA teams.

My two big interests in life are numbers and sport so fantasy football is the perfect combo for me.

Played Football growing up till I hit 12 and realised I was  too small and would get crushed once tackling came into the game. Started it up again 10 years later and loving it. Have also played Teeball where I made state league, Soccer and Tennis.

Always been a numbers guy and studied Economics and Statistics at Uni and also worked part time for champion data for the wafl. Previously worked as a stockbrokers assistant but now work in financial planning.

I see the game very similar to the movie money ball where I believe statistics and numbers are the best indicator and trade and pick my teams on what builds the best list. I believe that's what makes me a successful trader in fantasy football, I actually don't watch many afl games and I see the players as a bunch of numbers when they run out on the field. I have got to the point that I cheer when players in my fantasy teams kick goals against North.

I have been playing fantasy football for about 8 years now. I started out in DT talk and discovered the site and posted up my poor team looking for some help. Starting out I always hated SC not liking the bias of it, being a pure stats guy as DT was always just about the stats and no persons opinion. This changed in 2013 when I jokingly put in abit of effort into SC and was high up the rankings all year. As the season progressed I begun to think about the 50k and focused all my attention to SC. I got really close to the prize and have been focusing on SC ever since.

I live by three rules to success
1. Trust your gut and your extinct, your first thought is normally the correct one.
2. Always pick the player who the risk is injury but you know can score over the player who's risk is scoring
3. Trade hard, Trade early.

2014 Updates pending

Although Doc's list is short at the minute this will change as Doc becomes more involved in elxam and gets a few seasons under his belt. Doc's registration year of 2010 was a pleasant surprise, he is an old timer, quality not quantity i feel is Docs method. Recently we all became aware of much more of Docs life through naste's work with interviews. Doc is one of those gifted enough to be not only a surgeon in SC but a surgeon by occupation, a saver of lives and worthy of any Honour Board. Sadly and cruelly by a twist of fate Doc also lost a young child in a tragic accident that had many here wondering how Doc copped with such a devastating event, not many could comprehend the true irony of being able to save a life but have one taken from you that is such a special life. The fact that he has managed to reassemble his life and begin to see it for all it's wonderful qualities again only speaks volumes of Doc and his character. Many would see Doc on the boards in SC and the Rate My Team thread is a favourite haunt and he's one of the few who can say he is a Professional Fantasy Player as Doc has earnt cash from it taking home a lazy $850 this year. Doc is a happy  helper around the SC boards and also other boards in general, his knowledge of SC is surpassed by his knowledge of life earnt as a surgeon, a father of FIVE children and a husband who can offer words of wisdom in 99.9% of situations. We here are lucky to have a coach such as Doc and better for it, congrats on your nomination Doc you are worthy nominee for The Hall of Fame in 2014.

I also won the weekly prize last year in Sportsbet in round (13?) :P
Coach of the Svalbard Valkyries in Euros

So, my name's Ziplock, Zip, Zippy, Zarts etc. etc. etc. my real name's Luke, but I don't use it too often around here because then I become associate with lez *shudders in horror* (xoxo lez, sozzzz). I'm the Blue Mountains, NSW, but moved down to Sydney this year for my 3rd year of uni, where I'm *currently* studying Science/ Engineering, although I'm looking at doing my masters in physio, assuming I can complete some of the prereq courses next year.
I love sport, but have been almost constantly hampered by injuries since I did my knee when I was 15 in 2007, I only began to start playing sport properly this year and I'm looking at joining the sydney uni AFL team if I can get my fitness back up.
I love to have a joke and tease people, I think I can be very witty, and while it doesn't show on here too often, puns (also known as the highest form of humour) are my forte.
Like LH, I've also done a few charity fundraisers for cancer research/support/ treatment, although nothing on LH's scale.

Currently my fantasy contribution (and fantasy skills in general) have been pretty lacking. I used to be extremely active on the RMDT threads, and on DT players/ trades where I would run my 'Ask Ziplock' section, but I've fallen well behind on that, and probably aren't qualified to give anyone advice on anything #barelymadetop20k.
I coach the Svalbard Valkyries, who are poised for a break out year and sweep the entire XV comps clean with our monstrously developing team #breakoutyear2K15.

Other things about me... I enjoy playing games (of all types), I'm an avid anime  watcher (seriously though, been scraping the barrel recently- if anyone has any good anime for me to hit up, please drop me a line... so desperate), chatting to people are just generally hanging out. I'm also an incorrigible gossip... whilst if someone tells me something in confidence I'll never repeat it, if I hear something second hand that hasn't been confided in me, I class that as fair game in most circumstances. It's going to make me look like a bad person, but watching highschool esque dramas unfold is also extremely amusing... I never create them, but the more you gossip the more gossip you get, which means the more information about the stupid shower people are fighting over you know about.

I also live next to a primary school, and I hate that goddam teacher on the megaphone every flowering day. It's the same old lady, I don't know why she takes every morning and recess shift, but I swear I am over her bs. IT'S A SMALL SCHOOL, IF I CAN HEAR YOU WITH MY WINDOW CLOSED OVER 100M AWAY THE DAMN MEGAPHONE'S TOO LOUD!
'No hat no play, sit in the shade. TIMMY SIT IN THE SHADE!'
'Everyone, two pieces of rubbish each, you can't take them from your lunch box. TIMMY! YOU CANT TAKE THEM FROM YOUR LUNCH BOX!!! GET ANOTHER 5!!! DONT TAKE THOSE FROM YOUR LUNCH BOX AS WELL!'
'Ok, you can all go play when you put away your lunch boxes. TIMMY! YOUR LUNCHBOX! I SWEAR TIMOTHY, YOU HAVE TILL THE COUNT OF 3...'
'Ok, so years 1,2 and 3 have the basketball court today. TIMMY YOU'RE IN YEAR 6, NO TIMMY! BAD TIMMY! WHAT DID GENEVIEVE EVER DO TO YOU?!?!'

flowering timmy.

that is all.

Thanks for the work Zip and congratulations on your worthy nomination mate.

Some if us would of known HB under another username CrowsFan but whoever he has been he has always been consistently HB and around the place. He is a genuine bloke with a big heart who has also gone to great lengths for charity raising funds and awareness of Cancer , $3000 raised last year. HB in lycra still remember it, burned my eyes i think. You get the feeling HB and his family are made from solid stuff and are a determined group, his brothers chosen sport for those that don't know is UFC and he is extremely good at it so be nice to HB would be my advice. http://tenplay.com.au/sport/brace/extra/season-2014/fight-6--middleweight-title-fight-83-9kgs  for those wanting a look at Rob in action. HB is pretty proud of his brother and so he should be. HB is a quality coach and person and always a good adversary when you cross paths with him in elxam and other leagues.
Elxam to HB means what it means to many of us and he treats it as such, important. HB is one of the originals and the first to spend 200 days online here, no question of his loyalty and commitment to FF over the journey and another very worthy nominee for the Hall of Fame in 2014.

Have got more and more involved in the forum since I joined FF way back in 2010, when I started playing the FF Fantasy game with a few mates.
I live and work a desk job in Perth, so I spend a fair but of time surfing through the boards, mainly the teams, Supercoach and the XV's where the trading and drafting suit my style of research and long term decision making! Finally got close to taking out a regular fantasy competition this year finishing 2nd in the Sportsbet comp, which earned me a $2500 free bet that I promptly lost on a Joel Selwood/Sydney to win the flag combo! I would like to think I am pretty unbiased for Swans players, except for Luke Parker who I have a slight man crush for!

Active every day and would like to think I am generally helpful with the advice I give both on the RMT boards and with the players and trade area. Very active member in the XV comps section for a year or so now, and becoming the joint admin of the Americas SC with Jukes has been a great way to try and help out around the place, I really enjoy the admin side of things as you can maybe tell from the team threads for my XV teams, trying to make them interesting, but also quick to the point for people who want to view my players/team, leaving a lot of the fluff at the bottom!

Outside of the fantasy realm I am married and the father to two wonderful kids, who both try my patience and surprise me daily! Life would not be the same without them or my wonderful wife of almost 10years. Big fan of the GoT franchise and you will regularly catch me in the TV thread throughout the tv series season trying not to give away spoilers while commenting!!
I am honored that I have been nominated in such esteemed company and am sure the winner will be a very deserved and valuable member of FF.
See you on the boards.

Thanks to SydneyRox for writing this for us  :)

I am originally from Melbourne but now live in country Vic Bratpack my brother also moved up here as well
Id really like to say how honored I am to be nominated hell to even have my name available to be nominated along such champions is great
Im on pretty much every day checking in on the front bar
The coaches vent thread
And WXV and Euros mainly
(Yup I ride HP's coattails to success :D )
Though I do have to say I think there are a lot more deserving people here to be inducted
These days my "help" is like once in a while I chat so I really probably let the team down there
but since i'm not really classed as "good" you don't want my advice....lol
But since I got this opportunity I better let people know a little about me
I have a lovely fianccee and 3 great kids 9 year old boy 8 year old girl and a 2 (almost 3 5 days before Christmas) boy
I work in a pharmacy as a storeman and have done for just on 4 years now
Besides that there isnt much these days Ive quieted down quite a lot to lead a relatively boring life
Since I gave up smokes and drinks and don't really go out now
Just quiet family time
So sorry for the lack of excitement in my speech but thanks for the nomination

RB is one of the 2009 brigade, a coaching legend and a mad keen Roo's supporter. He has over 10,000 counted posts and a mind boggling 29,000+ in total so its easy to see RB has been pretty active during his journey here at Fan Footy. RB is 16 and in year 11 at high school in Victoria and basically only does SC in fantasy which see's his elxam stats reduced due to that fact but have no fear the guy can coach, you don't consistently make the Champions Leagues if you are not a good coach as the Champions Leagues across all comps is chock full of talent year in year out and SC is always full of very very good coaches so he's done extremely well to remain in there since making his first Champions League, great effort that. Besides Fantasy Footy he is a very keen cricketer and also not bad at that, i have a sense whatever RB does he does it well. Over his time here he has been a more than happy to give his advice and assistance where possible and is a major contributor in the North Melbourne Board. RB is a popular member of FF and well liked by all. When i look around at the youth thats here and how they conduct themselves it's safe to say the world is in good hands and RB is certainly one of those, an impressive young man to say the least and a very worthy nominee for the 2014 Hall of Fame.

Congratulations RB on your nomination for the Hall of Fame, it is well deserved.

From the above it's clear Spite knows what he's doing in Fantasy Footy and he does. He's been around awhile and seems to travel under the radar a bit but he is certainly popular and well liked aswell as an asset to us here at FF. Without any further ado i'll hand you over to Spite.

Firstly, thank you for the nomination. It is a pleasure to be nominated alongside such fantastic contributors to the forum.
Now, a little about myself and fanfooty. I see myself as a bit of a 'forgotten' member of fanfooty. I'm not often nominated for things (this was a nice surprise!), sometimes left out of other stuff but in a non-stalkerish way, I am always here and always watching (sounded much less creepy in my head). I am one of the oldest members of fanfooty and I used the forum for a good year and a half before creating an account of my own, so I've been around a lot longer than people may think. I probably don't stand out as much as the other nominees because I conduct a lot of my advice via private messages although I do try and post helpful news in both the dreamteam and supercoach sections of the forum.
I have had relative success in all forms of the competitions, finishing in the top 3k of every comp nearly every year (except 2013). I have played dreamteam for nearly 10 years now and supercoach from its first season. My love of maths combined with football knowledge I believe helps me have decent placings, with top finishes of around 230 in both fantasy competitions and a final 64 eliminator exit in 2010. In the XVs competitions, I am a co-coach of the very successful Hebdenbridge Hedgehogs in the beautifully run BXV (cheers Ringo!).
The elxam competitions means a lot to me because elxam was my favourite person on the forum when I first joined. We signed up on the same day (April 13th, 2010) and everything he posted was gold. He really was a large factor of why I stayed around in the early days of this forum. I have had the honour of being a Vic Captain in the Vic vs All Stars matches (we won that year woo) and qualified for the dreamteam champions league next year.
Science/Engineering is apparently more common amongst nominees than I would expect, but I have completed 4 years of my double degree with 3 years left... I also enjoy long walks on the beach, romantic dinners and basketball.
Congratulations again to all the other nominees.

Thanks Spite and congratulations on your nomination for the Hall of Fame in 2014, well deserved.

There may be a few members who don't know Rooster that well. He has been around FF in some form or another since 2010 and
is a very well liked and respected member who always has something positive or thought provoking to say in the best and worst of situations. He is a wise man. Like a couple of members here Rooster has been active in charities and raising funds for cancer, he has like many of us lost somebody close to him and has used that inspiration to push on raising valuable funds for the cure we all desire, well done mate. His stats may be on the smaller side of things but rest assured he is a giant here. His post numbers are a lesson to all,  quality not quantity. Quality is a good way to describe Rooster as a member and a individual. I have had the great pleasure in meeting the man and assure you i do not lie he is all we thought he was, a great bloke. Rooster is one of the only 14 to be involved in elxam since it's inception and respects greatly the sentiment behind elxam. He is and will always be a legend of the forum and a more than worthy nominee for the Hall of Fame in 2014.

Congratulations on your nomination for the 2014 Hall of Fame McRooster well deserved mate.

It's my great pleasure to announce the first two Legends to be inducted into the Hall of Fame for 2014. Prospector and elxam are the two Legends to be placed first on the board. Two extremely worthy people and 'im sure most will agree they deserve their spot.

I found the Elxam stuff in the Elxam boards and the threads in the league boards 2014 stuff isn`t added yet in the Elxam boards so need to fish through the league board threads

Most of your stuff however is here in the Real DT league thread I did for this year
