Yeah that's what I'm hoping and will be looking for in the nab challenge.
Not sure of how the Dees will set things up now though with Daws their only power forward.
Clarke and Frawley leaving leaves a bit of a hole in the forward line

Martin still going to be an absolute gun will just take a bit longer with his size, he got a bad injury anyway so not sure how you can judge him they were obviously taking it easy with him in the forward line and he still looked good

Not saying he won't, my point was that overhyped kids don't always deliver in their first season.
I pick players based on A. Where they are most likely to play, and B. If they have the body ready for AFL.

Hogan does have the body but will be playing In the forward line of a bottom club. It's not like he will even get the luxury of playing on teams 4th best defenders as most first year kids would. He will likely take the 2nd best defender each week.
Forwards need goals for decent scores or to spend time on the ball. I just think he will be a 50-60 avg player in his first year.
Probably still ok for an F7/F8 but he's not locked in my team just yet.
and thats pretty fair mate, can see where your coming from.

Thing is noone knows at this stage whether he'll play deep fwd or up the ground and where McCartin fits in. At this stage he has a spot in my side so but things can change. I doubt they will, but they can

Ahh...am I reading this wrong? Paddy McCartin, from you know, the Saints? Don't see him affecting the Dees' forward structure too much...

That was when McCartin was expected to slip to Melbourne mate
