No compensation to be payed, as Balme (at Geelong) was just on a rolling contract (year to year).  So he finishes up after the draft.
Eade was different because he was contracted for 3 years and had to walk out in the middle of a contract, so compensation needs to be payed....

To all the Eddie haters.... Ha Ha Ha, you wish he was running your clubs........................... :P
