I'm very disappointed in Cricket Australia.

Some traditions don't need to be broken. Australia Day in Adelaide should be held in the same regard as Boxing Day in Melbourne and the New Years Test in Sydney.

The fact that Adelaide didn't get AUS Day was just farcical - and CA's reason was that we got Australia's WC QF so we had to sacrifice the AUS Day game for that.

Also, in 12 ODIs this summer, not one is in Adelaide. Perth and Hobart didn't get a Test this summer, but with Sydney getting a second ODI this tri-series, and Melbourne, Brisbane and Hobart getting 1 each, why didn't Adelaide get one at all?!

I guess it was karma that the game got rained out.

I agree mate Australia day should of remained ours, we got ripped but a few states got ripped also.

Yeah definitely, but CA go out of their way to make sure NSW never get ripped.

iirc we had a test match against Bangladesh the other year haha.

Joined this site enthusiastic at a dedicated cricket forum but must say disappointed there is not much activity here embracing any fantasy games or serious cricket banter in general. Tried to get one started a number of weeks ago but amazed on a new cricket fan site did not even get a reply. Anyway joined the new ICC fantasy cricket game and surprised once again to visit here and it is not even mentioned by others. All I read is talk of weather.................

There's cricket talk going on. There's a section for cricket fantasy games. I am trying to get a long term domestic comp going, which I most certainly haven't forgotten about and will aim to get to very soon.

That is what I meant.
I removed the fantasy game some time ago as there was no response on a cricket forum that had blog suggesting it was going to be a big cricket forum and also fantasy related.

Nah, the game I posted about was one I made up myself and thought maybe running it on a dedicated new cricket forum I read had just started would be ideal rather than on a footy type forum. Anyway, after a few days of no response here and not much activity in general I removed it and ended up playing it on another site.

As for icc fantasy game, yeah, joined that yesterday. Quite like the team I created and probably helped me know whom to pick from playing the other game I created in recent weeks.
If a few of you have teams on that site to, let me know and happy to join a league you are in.
