I will lose my shower the day an Australian retires prematurely to focus on t20 cricket.

roo boys!

I really don't think money would be too big a concern for Dhoni would it?

Unless he just wants to be greedy and earn some more unneccesary exorbitant wages playing T20s

Iv got a feeling that they asked him to step down as captain and he said nah flower that il retire. As Ponting was saying he didnt mention anything during the match press conference.

I would say you have nailed it JB. As you say came after the press conference and no mention at the conference. Why would you retire before the final test of the series anyway?

Spot on

They have a young team who in 12-18 months time will be incredible, and with that the younger Kholi will lead them into that chapter

MS would have been told/suggested to step down

must have supreme confidence in Saha.

now all they need is a bowling attack  :P

PowerBug

I was laughing my head off because I've been saying how India fail to bat longer than 50 overs, and I was waiting for the collapse to begin in the 51st over. And what happened in the 51st over? Johnson bowled that ripper to Pujara, followed by Rahane getting out. I thought they'd roll them :( Indian's (bar Kohli) can't concentrate for more than 50 overs a day, it's kinda sad but funny.

Really want Australia to win the next test so India drop to number 7 in the rankings.

Agar into the squad...

@CricketAus: BREAKING: Ashton Agar brought into Australia's squad for the fourth Test. The rest of the squad the same from MCG Test #AUSvIND
he wont play...Lyon is in form
Yeah can't see how he has plays. only assume he's there for the experience.
I was thinking the other day they could play another young spinner in the Sydney test if the series was wrapped up, I thought it might be a good time to blood Boyce, I guess Agar is worth a shot aswell.

Boyce is our future. What do the selectors see in Agar ??? Other than batting.

PowerBug

Surely Agar won't be coming into the top 6? And we don't need to pick a bowler because he can bat either, a pure bowler would be fine
