When was the last time Australia had an opening stand this big? Beats me.

Cowan and Warner got 212 2 years ago

Buck. :(
And T Dog does that make that the 3rd highest opening stnd ever for Aus? Surely not. I thought the same thing Bill haha I reckon it has been 7-8 years since we got a stand like that though.

Wow what a contrast between a man in form and another not. SMith and Watto came in at the same time, batting looks 100x easier for Smith. Come on Watto i backed you over agar for this test show something at least lol, that isn't 27 off 70 balls or something

Bill Manspeaker

Smiddy anada fiddy

fair to say he's in some form ;D

Bill Manspeaker

good stuff Watto. struggled a bit early but hung in there and made yourself some tough runs

not a bad toss to win

shaker

Good stuff from the boys so far but this is one lame bowling attack

Bill Manspeaker

great piece of bowling there from Yadav, veery lucky Watto. second last ball of the day. sheesh

good day boys. good toss to win

hopefully Smiddy can get another century tomorrow morning 8)

tbagrocks

Not the bowling, it was those dropped catches ::)

Anyway, what a huge day one for the home side, 2 wickets down sheesh

jobe#4

those dropped catches!

Watson always does this, makes runs when there is no pressure at all. Should still get the boot

tbagrocks

Righto India, need to take wickets! Fire up lads

Bill Manspeaker

not before Smiddy gets another century bagger :P

Nige

I wanna see Watto get out LBW in the 90s, just for laughs.
