Haha putting the Dillos in the top tier is cruel. :(

you dont have a harder draw you just have a harder late draw. Its actually great for you as your old guys can crush the weaker teams early than you fall away and lose to teams you were going to anyway.

Master Q

I'm not sure having all the bottom teams playing each other in the last few rounds is the greatest idea...

Also, I'd hate to be a top team if I was hit with multiple injuries during my "hard" run.

Doing this round by round!

The numbers are the head 2 head against each team, while the comments at the end tell you the extra competition(s) going on!

Round 1, AFL Round 1, Easter Weekend

Partial Lockout! Carlton and Richmond players locked at Thursday Night. Complete lockout at start of Melbourne/Gold Coast match.

Team 1   W   v   Team 2   L   Ground   Comment
Berlin Brewers   1   v   Cape Town Cobras   3   Berlin Olympic Stadium
Cairo Sands   1   v   Moscow Spetsnaz   2   Borg El Arab Stadium
Christchurch Saints   0   v   Tokyo Samurai   0   AMI Stadium
Dublin Destroyers   2   v   Pacific Islanders   1   Crooke Park
London Royals   2   v   New Delhi Tigers   1   London Royals Olympic Stadium   EurAsia
New York Revolution   0   v   Buenos Aires Armadillos   3   MetLife Stadium, New Jersey   AAP Alliance, Americas
Rio de Janeiro Jaguars   0   v   PNL Reindeers   0   Maracana Stadium
Seoul Magpies   0   v   Mexico City Suns   3   Seoul World Cup Stadium
Toronto Wolves   2   v   Beijing Thunder   1   Rogers Centre

No Grand Final Replay (cos the Grand Finalist Sao Paulo doesn't exist anymore). Feel Berlin/Cape Town could be an important match, as will Cairo and Moscow.

Christchurch are at home against Tokyo for their first ever match, while Rio de Janeiro are at home against PNL Reindeers and both promise to be great games.

The reigning premiers take on the reigning wooden spooners.

New York try to break its duck against Buenos Aires, while Seoul host the Suns to try and get its first ever win.

PNL Reindeers   0   v   Christchurch Saints   0   State de France
Seoul Magpies   2   v   Cairo Sands   1   Seoul World Cup Stadium
Tokyo Samurai   0   v   Mexico City Suns   3   Tokyo Olympic Stadium

Berlin, Buenos Aires and Mexico City try to keep perfect records against New York, New Dehli and Tokyo respectively.

Think Cape Town and Toronto match of the round here!

meow meow

Half of AMI stadium has been demolished after the earthquakes and it hasn't been used since 2011. The rest will probably get pulled down too. There's only one other stadium in Christchurch, and having to play home games in a stadium called Rugby League Park probably isn't the best thing for an AFL competition haha.

Can London break its duck at home against Cape Town? Can the Thunder upset the Suns?

I like the look of PNL v Toronto, and Seoul v Berlin

Round 4, AFL Round 4, ANZAC Day Weekend

Note: Neutral games are spackled across the year, meaning no home ground advantage

Team 1   W   v   Team 2   L   Ground   Comment
Berlin Brewers   1   v   Moscow Spetsnaz   3   Berlin Olympic Stadium   EurAsia, Europe
Buenos Aires Armadillos   3   v   Seoul Magpies   0   Estadio de River
Christchurch Saints   0   v   Beijing Thunder   0   Neutral, Gabba
Dublin Destroyers   2   v   New York Revolution   1   Crooke Park
New Delhi Tigers   0   v   Toronto Wolves   3   Wipro Stadium
Pacific Islanders   0   v   Mexico City Suns   3   Tuanaimato International Stadium, Samoa      AAP Alliance
PNL Reindeers   1   v   Cairo Sands   2   Stade de Gerland
Rio de Janeiro Jaguars   0   v   Cape Town Cobras   0   Maracana Stadium   AAP Alliance
Tokyo Samurai   1   v   London Royals   2   Tokyo Olympic Stadium   EurAsia

Berlin take on Moscow for the 5th time, but don't have a good record. Can Seoul take down Buenos Aires for the first time?

Christchurch face off against Beijing in the ANZAC Day Clash at the Gabba - No home advantage.

Toronto and the Suns will be feeling pretty confident about keeping perfect records, but can an upset happen?

Nige

The joys of being a mid-tier team.  8)

Round 5, AFL Round 5

Team 1   W   v   Team 2   L   Ground   Comment
Buenos Aires Armadillos   2   v   Beijing Thunder   1   Estadio de River
Christchurch Saints   0   v   Cape Town Cobras   0   AMI Stadium   AAP Alliance, Africonia
Dublin Destroyers   1   v   Tokyo Samurai   2   Crooke Park   EurAsia
London Royals   0   v   PNL Reindeers   3   London Royals Olympic Stadium   EurAsia, Europe
Mexico City Suns   3   v   New Delhi Tigers   0   Fireball Stadium
New York Revolution   1   v   Cairo Sands   2   MetLife Stadium, New Jersey   AAP Alliance
Pacific Islanders   0   v   Berlin Brewers   3   Tuanaimato International Stadium, Samoa
Seoul Magpies   0   v   Rio de Janeiro Jaguars   0   Seoul World Cup Stadium
Toronto Wolves   1   v   Moscow Spetsnaz   3   Neutral, ANZ Stadium

Tokyo had one of the upsets of the year last year when they defeated Dublin, can they do it again? They have a 2-1 record against them!

London looking at PNL with a thirst for victory... The Suns look to monster the Tigers, while Berlin be feeling confident against the Pacific.

Toronto and Moscow play a Neutral game in Sydney, no Home Game Advantage

Nige

A month of no HGA is a fantastic thing, means we're highly likely to have a good streak of games with HGA coming or later in the season when it could be important.  ;D

Round 6, AFL Round 6

Team 1   W   v   Team 2   L   Ground   Comment
Beijing Thunder   0   v   London Royals   3   Beijing Olympic Park   EurAsia
Berlin Brewers   2   v   PNL Reindeers   1   Berlin Olympic Stadium   European Cup, EurAsia, Europe
Buenos Aires Armadillos   3   v   Pacific Islanders   0   Estadio de River   AAP Alliance
Cairo Sands   0   v   Cape Town Cobras   3   Borg El Arab Stadium   African Cup, AAP Alliance, Africonia
Dublin Destroyers   1   v   Seoul Magpies   2   Crooke Park   EurAsia
Mexico City Suns   3   v   New York Revolution   0   Fireball Stadium   AAP Alliance, Americas
Moscow Spetsnaz   0   v   Rio de Janeiro Jaguars   0   Luzhniki Stadium
New Delhi Tigers   0   v   Christchurch Saints   0   Wipro Stadium
Toronto Wolves   2   v   Tokyo Samurai   1   Rogers Centre

We have 2 official rivalry matches!

Berlin holds a 2-1 lead over PNL in the European Cup, the Reindeers probably favourites to even that out. While Cairo is Cape Town's bunny, who have yet to taste victory over them in the African Cup.

Dublin will look to even the ledger against Seoul, while New York looks for a first victory against Mexico City.
