Strong defense which should really help you overcome the lack of rookie options because barring lack of injury you should have D1-8 playing each week.

As a few have said, I'm really impressed with the unique guns in your mids with the likes of Treloar and even Priddis i haven't seen in many sides.

Cannot fault your rucks at all, very strong

Obviously you've gone week in the fwds, but Dusty and Swan i think are the pick of the forwards, especially considering the price of Gray/Goddard. Dusty ready to explode.

Hard to fault anything here, some risky picks, but could pay off big
Cheers!

Yeah, I like the risk vs reward to be honest. I'll either sink or swim, which should be fun. :P

Made some more changes in case our lord Gajesus isn't good to go.

Hurn -> Malceski
Ablett -> Parker
Newton -> JOR/Jed/De Goey (or whoever else cheaper pops up)
Karnezis -> Salem

Would probably prefer Lumumba -> Simpson instead of Hurn -> Malceski but that's personal preference.
And dunno about Ablett -> Parker. Feel like if you're going without Ablett you need to replace him with someone reliable. AKA Pendles/Selwood/Fyfe. You've got enough PODs there already.
And why trade out Newton? JOR and De Goey won't be giving you much extra cash... Haven't crunched the numbers to see if it was a necessity.

Money Shot

Hurn>Simspon
Ablett>Pendles
Newton>Anderson
Karny>Salem

That's what I would do.

Eski is not going to average as well this season imo and therefore should go down in price.

would love your thoughts on mu team.

Lumumba's gonna be very easily a top 10 defender this year and is a very good shot at top 5. Couldn't have done any more this pre-season to justify his selection, if you're not picking him, you're missing the boat. I like Malceski and had him in my original side, but his price made him hard to pick, but I've found the cash to get him back in for now which makes me happy.

My teams are always POD central, and that's how I like them, Parker's gonna have a stellar year, a real sneaky chance for top 10 mids imo. He'll average well, I'm confident of it. Had the cash to pick better than him but I'm sold on him doing enough.

Newton's out for now, I'm a huge fan of the bloke and I'll probably trade him back in, especially since JOR/Jed and serious vest candidates whereas Newton won't be. However if a cheaper mid rookie pops up I think I'll grab them instead purely for cash purposes rather than stretching my budget.

I've pretty much addressed all over those in my response above.

Yeah fair enough!
good choices mate!

Okay, so v12. If you told me before this pre-season I was gonna make a dozen RMSC sides, I'd have knocked some sense into you and laughed. Nevertheless, here we are.

Shaw, Gibson, Fisher, Adcock, Lumumba, Goodes (McIntosh, Saad)
Priddis, Barlow, Parker, Treloar, Steven, Cripps, Vandenberg, Ellis-Yolmen (Heeney, Miller, Lambert)
Mumford, Maric (Downie)
Deledio, Martin, Swan, Salem, Clark, Lamb (Hogan, Lonie)

78.5k left. Not sure whether to hold it or use it, leaning towards the former.

Changed my structure down back by bringing in Goodes. Value for money at the price. Means I can bring in Eski when his price drops.

Still no GAJ, but will bring him in ASAP whenever that is. To compensate I've turned Newton into Steven who again is value for money.

They're the two major changes.

Thoughts/feedback amigos?

Use your spare cash to bring in an Ablett/Pendles/Fyfe/Selwood type instead of Priddis or Barlow.

Gotta have one of those guys imo.

Not gonna start GAJ given all the drama, I can't bring myself to do it. I'll pray hard and hope he drops in price and that I can bring him in ASAP.

Have considered Fyfe/Jelwood instead of Barlow, they'll probably average just more than Barlow. I'm leaning towards Jelwood right now as I had him briefly before. Priddis is my first picked, always in my team and never leaves.

Yep given that, Barlow --> Fyfe would be my only suggestion.

Just helps a bit when it comes to choosing a skipper each week :)

I think you'd need 2-3 of those guys!

Whelp, v13. Had a change of heart. Guess what? GAJ is back in.

Shaw, Gibson, Fisher, Adcock, Lumumba, Goodes (Saad, McIntosh)
Ablett, Priddis, Parker, Treloar, Steven, Cockatoo, Heeney, Ellis-Yolmen (Vandenberg, Miller, Lambert)
Mumford, Maric (Downie)
Martin, Bennell, Swan, Salem, Clark, Lamb (Hogan, Lonie)

$17,100 left.

I can say with confidence that I'm probably happier with this team than any before it. 8)

I've got my 5 premo backline, got GAJ and my beloved PODs in my mids, my desired ruck combo and the right balance in the forward line given the value of the premo picks and the wealth of forward rookies.

Feedback appreciated and welcome.  :)

Bloody glorious to see a side that isn't a cookie cut side!
Kudos to you, my friend. You are the POD king, but with a bloody good team to boot.  ;)

parker, treolar and steven are gr8
but fishers has had 15, 9 then 7 games in the last 3 years!
