Hi guys,

We aren't quite at the list lodgement stage yet, but thought I'd provide a template for you guys to use. You can update as you go along.

Example

The Wakanda Panthers have 36 senior players, two 1st year rookies (Tom and Fred), two 2nd year rookies (Dick and Harry), and 3 international draft picks (17, 25, 63).

The coach decides to delist 4 senior players, and keep 32 of them.

The coach decides to keep Tom on the rookie list, delist Fred, promote Harry and delist Dick (remembering 2nd year rookies have to be promoted or delisted, 1st year rookies can be promoted, retained on rookie list or delisted).

The coach needs 40 players on senior list. He has 32 players + Promotion Harry + 3 International Draft Picks = 36. Meaning the coach will be given 4 extra picks starting with Round 6.

IF the coach had say 37 players + Harry + 3 International Draft Picks = 41, they would lose one of their draft picks.

So you pretty much have picks in Nat draft until you get a full 40 senior players (prior to picking the players). If you pass on any of those picks, you'll be allowed picks in the PSD. So as you said, in your list, if you skip round 9 Nat draft, you'll be eligible for your first PSD pick. But it'll only be decided if people skip any of their picks in the Nat draft, then those coaches will be allowed to pick up in the PSD.
