I dont trust Nicnat myself.

Think the no ablett/rocky will gather momentum as we get closer to the season and pendles will be the #1 picked.

Rookies are anything right now, but honestly dont think Membrey will be worth it, there seems to be a lot of value in the fwds this year, so I think you may have gone 1 heavy, which you could use to strengthen your backs

I hope you are right about Gaz / Rocky the people who started without those 2 this year lost so many points they found themselves way behind before they new it  ;)

Rocky wasnt really a necessary round 1 selection last year, his scoring was about right until the bye, so if you waited until rnd 11 you would have been most pleased with a 182 and a $5k discount from his opening price.

I am 100% off Rocky to start the year. Way too many questions over how the Lions mids will be set up with the inclusions of Beams, Christensen and Rich(realistically).

Not as far off Ablett, but am going to be wary, think he will be a better upgrade target than starting mid next year.

kilbluff1985

i think the midfield is strong enough to cover not having them but it's a tough choice between Heppell or Watson

shaker

If they are on the field think will score the same as this year they just rack up possies so I am not concerned who else is in the team , more people that don't start with them is all the better  :P

Bones Bombers

Do you think Laverde will get games for us KB?

not sure really, most likely not without injuries maybe as sub they seemed to rotate the sub this year through fringe players

kinda just in my team as a place holder currently

Bones Bombers

Will be interesting to see in preseason games and if he gets named rd1.

kilbluff1985

yep super keen to see Laverde and Langford play the preseason games

AaronKirk

Laverde has the size to be able to slot in and play a half-forward or half-back role with a bit of midfield time from the start of next season IMO.

Langford is lightly framed and I think we will be cautious with playing him early next season. If Langford does get games I suspect it wouldn't be until the second half of the season.

very happy with this really uneasy on defense rookies so likely will start 5 keepers

the extra cash will hopefully be used to start Bennell over Thomas

i still dont think membrey is a very good pick. Surely Reid or even garlett are safer? even put steele up forward and Boekhorst into that midfield freeing up another 100k.
Then you could go... J.Thomas to Bennell, McKenzie to shaw or hurn who i think will step it up with the captaincy.
Then use the remaining and see if you can get goddard to Colquhoun or biggs who should play some key roles.

Agreed.
Maybe go Membrey to Steele
that should allow you to upgrade Thomas to Bennell and with the extra cash I would try and get Rich in that midfield to make it look a bit stronger.

sorry for last night mate!

def: like your first 3, i see huge risk in mckenzie. Kolodjasnij isnt really a shut down player nor is malceski so only way i see mckenzie rebounding is if both play a wing and with the suns mid thats unlikely. Seedsman as im a collingwood supporter and as much as i like him just not sure i see him being a high midpricer or premo. However i see the potential!
Mid: I'd say need 4 top class mids if you are going to go with 4-0-6 structure just so you have 4 genuine keepers. Keeping it safe. But i like the players you've selected. Greene and Heppell should rack them up although greene could see some HB time.
Ruc: Usual suspects
FWD: Personally id go deledio over goddard up forward. Lid's averaged 115 when the tiges went on their run of winning. i expect the tigers to be up there again and the same with lids! Im not sold on dusty yet, but if you are then keep him! SMith and swan a solid picks! Bellchambers is clever using the dpp i do like it but wont addopt it myself. Membrey a lock now at 120k-150k
