Cheers KB - nice looking team. I see 4 rucks. If they're costed, you've got a bit more money in the bank, I think.

Not a hug fan of Simpson, rather one of the hawthorn blokes (not Gibson.) pretty standard I'd watch Seedsman, so many players who could take the pies HB role.
Heppell is a nice pick, ward could be handy with Griffen coming in it'll take attention off him.
Rucks good however remember the extra player in the mid with only 1 bench ruck!
Forwards missing lids and or  buddy who I think  will be 2 of the top 3 mids with Swan.
I like a lot of your picks!

kilbluff1985

yeah i have 4 rucks cause m0nty not changed the structure yet would just change King for a mid

Simpson is almost guaranteed 95 average and never misses a game

Buddy i don't like him guaranteed to miss a hand full of games

Deledio i just don't like paying 550k for him not real sure why and i like being different

fasttrack13

Fair enough on buddy and lids... Just don't want you to miss out on 110+ that they could possibly produce...
Buddy 113 after byes
Lids 115 on tigers winning streak

Thought I'd tempt you

just something different going cheap in the forward line and stacking defense  and getting potentially 5 super mid premos

creeker

I like this squad kilbluff1985 !
There seems to be lots of good forward options this year so I like the idea of stacking other lines.
Great to see Rocky in your line up. Excellent mids.
Have thought about T (The Cannon) McKenzie for my team but a little worried about his role. Have you heard any reports about him for this year ?
Jealous about your rucks, set and forget, sweet.
Some great pods in your team.
Top job.

I really think leaving out all of Buddy, Lids, Boomer, BJ, Gray, Martin and even Bartel leaves you really chasing the points early.

Defenders don't score like these guys.

Just not enough guns for my liking.

+1
If you do go weak in the forward line I still think you need 2 or 3 of the guys like Lids/Franklin/Goddard as they will get you the points from the start.
Do like the idea in theory but still think it is too weak.

Not sure on both of Seedsman/Mckenzie would downgrade one of them.
Try and get Goddard in for Membrey and then I think your team would look better.
Would love your thoughts on mine team.

This is an excellent team.

DEF: Love it. All the picks are great, wouldn't change a thing.

MID: Any reason for no Gaz? Will be interested to hear what you think. I would prefer Ablett to Rockliff, especially with Beams arriving at the Lions and Redden and Rich coming back from injury. Pendles and Ward are great picks and Heppell is a nice unique, he could easily push up to 115+ this year.

RUC: Perfect. Wouldn't change a thing here.

FWD: I love the structure and I guess it looks a bit unusual with no Goddard, Deledio or Buddy but I actually like all of your picks, Devon is a nice unique. I think they all have the potential to go 95 or more. My only worry is that if Belly becomes a keeper at F7 then you only have space for 2 more premium forwards and I think Gray, Deledio, Goddard and Buddy will all be in the top 6 forwards so you won't be able to fit them all in.

kilbluff1985

Cheers Ben

about Ablett it's mainly cause i have a man crush on Rocky and Ablett's shoulder worries me plus i'm a sucker for a POD as you can see Rocky just knows how to find the ball i think Beams might actually help him get it more i know most people are thinking different but yeah i'm backing him

i don't like having Franklin in my team think i might try to squeeze in Goddard over Dusty though

That's fair enough on all points.

I agree re: Franklin. I won't be starting him either. Yep, I would choose Goddard over Dusty.

wondering if people prefer this team over the one without Ablett above

hoping the midfield makes up for the weaker forward line and  should get some good cash generation out of the forwards
