Just saw this on Facebook. This just makes me think how flowering good Port can be, and over quite an extended period of time. No surprise that North are the oldest, especially after this trade period. Only going to have about 2 years to win a premiership.

Without Nroo, Chips, Montagna and Schnieds. The average Saints age would be like...12 or something  ;)

Mailman the 2nd

Geelong, Hawks and Sydney have had that average for a good 4/5 years or so

roo boys!

A tad surprising seeing this actually! From memory North's had usually been quite low in previous years, obviously Boomer bumps it up big time.

Bringing in a 31 year old wouldn't help either.

Still, think the young midfield brigade is the most critical element to look at. And replacing Petrie effectively, plenty of options, just need one to step up consistently.

Ben Brown is already better than Petrie mate.

Haha

Seriously though it would be nice if Brown could be the man to dominate that forward line for years to come! Not pinning all my hopes on him just yet though, don't want too much pressure placed on the young man :P

Can't tell if Richmond are 8th or 9th on this list since the bar for Adelaide is similar in size.

Speaking of ages, BONT isn't even 19 yet. He's only 2 months older than Petracca and Brayshaw.

Take BOB, Morris, Boyd and Minson out and we'd be 11.9

The 22 & under talent is only matched by GWS though...

22: Libba, Dahlhaus, Wallis, Campbell (lies, it is his 23rd bday today)
21: Johannisen, Smith, Jong, Talia, Darley, Roberts, Pearce
20: Macrae, Stringer, Hrovat, Prudden
19: Boyd, Hunter, Honeychurch
18: Bontempelli, Cordy + 5 draftees

Bottom 4 finish this year so that means another #4 plus #22 next year

I'm not sold on Petracca being the best player in the draft by any means. More like he is the man-child against the skinny boys.
