Like how you said "on-field comparison". When you said he was like Heath Shaw I thought you meant he was a total flower wit haha.  ;)
Had to make that crystal clear.  8)

Big Mac

#259
Melbourne Pick 53: Jordan Cunico

Height: 184cm, Weight: 72kg, DOB: 07/05/96
Recruited from: Gippsland Power
Position: Wing/Half back

Cunico offers the highly sought after combination of pace and composure. With some of the best run and carry skills in the draft, he is someone you want with the ball in hand. He will work well with the likes of Jayden Hunt and Billy Stretch, as they also continue to develop.

Ricochet

PICK #54

Blaine Boekhorst

Ok smokey time. Carlton and Essendon are currently fighting over this bloke and he could go as early as a pick in the 20s. Another WA boy with elite skills and movement on the inside. But his real attribute is his ability to break the lines. At Freo he would compliment Hilly with his outside run and ball use but will also have the ability to go inside. Only concern Blaine has is whether he has the frame to put on size.

Jroo

Geelong Pick 55: Taylor Grace

Height: 184cm, Weight: 77kg, DOB: 17/04/1995
Recruited from: Sandringham Dragons

Position: Mid/Def

Considered Boekhorst when I took Wigg.

It's gonna be interesting to see if and when the two other guys (Jack Lonie was the other that Torp took) get selected in this draft and the actual AFL one.

Lonie has been interviewed by Richmond, he's very much in the frame.

I have my eye on him as well from the draft! Can get a bit of the ball, so interested to see which team he goes to!

If this kid was 10-15cm taller, he would be a top 10 pick without a doubt.
Top 1 if he was 10 cms taller. I reckon he will fail at AFL level if a club tries to turn him into a small forward though.
I rate him hugely, even with the height taken into account. Did pretty well against guys taller than him but also his age. May take a few years to adapt to the bigger bodies in the AFL, but has the skills and class for the midfield, half forward flank at least! Could be a solid forward pocket but certainly not his best spot.

North will take Alex Urban
I really hope this lad gets drafted.

He will. I like him. If not in the Nat someone will be like " shower we missed him" and grab him as a rookie.
