Nah I'll do it.

Tom Lamb, flower yeah! Welcome.

Hopefully it goes down like this in the real draft. :P

GOD DAMMIT Vin! Why couldn't you just quit so I could pick Lamb haha.
I swear according to you everyone is going to the Saints, you know AFL lists aren't unlimited. :P

Vin knows what's going on

cool trick hey

KB's turn? Or do we have to wait for Stew to announce that he picks Heeney? haha

Isn't Menadue a skinny running defender? haha

No doubt a bigfooty champion said this.

#140
Bombers take

Connor Blakely (compensation pick)
Swan Districts
Height: 186 cm
Weight: 81 kg
Position: Midfielder
Player comparison: Luke Parker
Strengths: Big time ball winner, strong body
Areas needing improvement: Scoreboard impact

Im a big fan of Blakelys. He wins a lot of the ball and, on most occasions, uses it to great effect. He can play either inside or outside, and has had stints down back and up forward. Hes excellent by hand and not bad by foot, and for Bombers, he immediately adds to their depth. Hes a ready to go prospect, but he also has plenty of room to improve. Id like to see him improve his running game, as I feel he could become a far more damaging player if he added an extra dimension. Blakely is an exceptional tackler, something that could be very useful when applying pressure up forward, ala Luke Parker. Bombers will be happy to add an extra strong body to the midfield.

cool trick hey

You must not read the Carlton thread  :P
What are you talking about? :P

KB, it's Carlton fan telepathy. I don't know what Mat is on about.

Better comparison would be Isaac Smith or David Zaharakis. Outside mids who struggle to win their own ball but can kill you with their run and ball use.

St Kilda Pick 21: Reece McKenzie

Height: 196cm, Weight: 100kg, DOB: 28/03/1996
Recruited from: Northern Knights
Position: FWD
Players Like: Brent Harvey  8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

Could he be the replacement? We traded out Rhys Stanley for this pick. So why not use it to train someone, bigger, stronger, and hopefully better. Absolute brute who will smash packs and kick bags.

Still deciding on 22, seeings as a few goodens are left.

kilbluff1985

how does a 196cm r/f play like Boomer? loooooooool

It's a joke champion! For the silly Ryan Griffen comparison.

St Kilda Pick 22: Jarrod Garlett

Height: 177cm, Weight: 72kg, DOB: 18/08/1996
Recruited from: South Fremantle
Position: Outside Midfielder

As much as I'd love to pick up Alex Neal-Bullen... It would be stupid for St Kilda to ignore Jarrod Garlett if he was still available at pick 22.
The crazy fast and slick and stylish outside midfielder would be the finish of the St Kilda midfield for years to come, by adding that extra pace coming from the midfield with our overstock of inside midfielders. And he actually has his head screwed on straight unlike he's loser cousin.

Vinny

I wouldn't mind Carlton taking Garlett either by the way. Fill the empty spot in my heart. :'(

nrich102

Ive heard Garlett plays like Sandilands :p
