I think that just signified how good the teams were at preventing each other from scoring but to each their own, Sydney and West Coast had some great chemistry back in the day.

I think it had a lot to do with the horrid flooding of the era. The game opened up a lot more the following year. It wasn't a super high scoring game in 06 but it was a lot more enjoyable to watch as a neutral observer.

I cried in '97 and '09. didn't cry in 2010. didn't know how to feel after the draw and the week after was not even worth crying over

I also cried when Kouta did his knee the first time. That was the beginning of the worst period in the history of the club. We had also just lost a final and I was also 11 :P
