Always nice to have a guaranteed win in the books for the first week :D

Ricochet

disappointing GWS aren't playing Sydney again... was looking forward to another upset :P

Mr.Craig

There's plenty of games there that could go either way.

Had to play Lions at home. Keeping Beames away from the vocality of a rabid Pie crowd early  ;D >:(

I guess they've given up on trying to make Sydney vs. GWS a thing

Great too see although not our usual Easter Thursday blockbuster games we have the Pies on Saturday Night.  Will be a great atmosphere on Easter Saturday as with the number of Pies supporters in Brisbane crowd is usually split 50/50. With the signing of Beams and Christensen and being first home game of the season would be extremely disappointed if crowd is not 30k+. Pies game in 2013 was our biggest crowd for that year so that is why I am optimistic on crowd size this year,
Lions will win and as GL has said D Beams 3 votes.
First outing in the back to the future Guernsey as well.

Glad that Richmond and Carlton are playing round 1 again.

Carlton and Richmond has been a perfect way to kick off the season. No need to mess with a winning formula.

Manufactured rivalries like SYD vs GWS are useless. GWS and WB have a legit rivalry brewing and it is much more interesting than one based purely on location.
